7-11 cannot continually rescue this team . 1-6 stand up
 
Terrible batting from Australia. A lot of loose shots. England bowled well and built some serious pressure and our guys couldn't handle it. A good test of character to see how we go about getting out of this mess.
 
I'm not against Bailey going but I would like to see him at four, I think he could be really good there with Clarke at five and Smith at six.

I don't think moving Bailey up the order solves his problems.
 
Watson will probably miss out for Sydney .Doolan at 3 . Faulkner at 6
 
I like it Socky. I'd be very inclined to take a punt on Lynn though to be honest.

Bailey is not up to test standard, his first class record has proven that over a number of years and his first four tests have supported that.. How will moving him higher up our test batting order magically turn him into a really good test batsman?

not trying to be a jerk, just saying IMO its just a shuffling of the deck chairs
