If the cows could land Holmes later in the season, well they have a pretty solid team. So much depends on Morgan now anyway, hopefully he can gel with Clifford/Martin.
Their depth is still rubbish but they won’t be failing due to lack of go forward.
I'm pleased for him that he has a great chance to play regular first grade, something he wouldn't get here. As Wolfie (I think) said the chance to do that would likely be enough for him to move even if there was no pay bump. I wish him well and always thought he gave his best for the Bronco's.
Hope he's seen the last of the injuries. I wish him all the best in his future. Until such times as he kicks a winning goal against us that is, then I'll be spitting chips.
I'm happy for him, he's too talented to be playing ISC and he's going to a club that treats ex-Broncos pretty well.
Kahu was one of the best backs in the competition in 2015. There were times where his skills were so silky I actually mixed him up with Hodges. Of all the highlights, the one that sticks out to me was the play he came up with against the Cowboys last year. Brisbane were out on their feet and the Cowboys were coming to collect. In one desperation play they go for a short kick-out and Kahu put every fibre of his being to get that ball and paid for it.
It was much better than his previous dealing with a short kick off, that much I can assure you.
Fantastic servant who embodies everything that makes me a fan of the club.
Hope he's seen the last of the injuries. I wish him all the best in his future. Until such times as he kicks a winning goal against us that is, then I'll be spitting chips.
Somebody else said it, i think he has ambitions of playing Union again. A one year deal is good for him. If he performs and COwboys dont get Holmes if he comes back, then he could get another contract.
