^^ Completely agree. The charge was correct. Letting him off entirely was not. At best he should have had it downgraded, but I'm still certain the charge itself was the right one.
Maybe so Coxy, but to go on and whinge about it as if they wouldn't do the same? A little hypocritical. I must say it didn't bother me at all, and hasn't bothered me when I've been at a game in Sydney and all the fans boo QLD either. It's just how it is, regardless of whether that's good or bad.
Completely agree, how he wasn't dragged straight off the field after that disgraceful effort I don't understand. Had he put in, I think he possibly could have made the tackle. I don't think Farah would have gotten near him, but Scott had every chance and didn't have the heart.
As for NSW not...
I have to say that whilst it wasn't a good look, I saw it exactly the same way as you did Beads. Didn't really look like a proper punch. Which I would have to think must have taken some restraint, who wouldn't want to just unleash a few fists on Bird?!
Overall, the scoreline flattered NSW big time. QLD had total control of that game for the majority of it and really should have run away with it. Kudos to NSW for not letting them, but I also think QLD perhaps shot themselves in the foot too. I think had QLD gotten a penalty after Inglis nearly...
Re: Teo possibly being named

Bowen concerns me at fullback. Don't know why, I just feel uneasy about it. I feel like it would be 'easier' (perhaps less risky??) to move Inglis and just find a sub for him at centre.
Dude, calm your farm. You should have won by more. A lot more. That fact means there was more NSW could have done. They were absolutely all over QLD for the majority of that game. Yet QLD were in it until the buzzer. I think me saying that shows I'm giving my team plenty of credit. It also...
I also have no issue with what Cronk did. Was it costly? Undoubtedly. But in the heat of the moment I have no doubt he did the only thing he could do. It didn't cost us the game. QLD had ample opportunity to win it. Fact is they weren't good enough. Fact also is though that NSW should have won...
Not sure if it's been mentioned as I haven't read back through all the posts, but can someone explain to me why Hannant isn't getting more game time cause I just don't get it.
Absolutely no point whatsoever in picking Farah and Buderus imo. It has to be one or the other and should be Farah. He did nothing to deserve being dropped and they surely have to come to a point where they decide to at least try and stick with the nucleus of a team?!?!
My 2 cents worth.
QLD: Tate was unbelievable and really stepped up once Billy started having issues with the high ball. Inglis showed good patches but went missing in between. Hannant was mammoth too, needed more minutes. I thought the whole 'Smith and co have the flu' was a bit of a...
