The Super League era sucked arse for the most part, but eff it - let’s gone Super League v2.
A return to proper footy with the added comfort of an asterix against our future spoons.
Both were downers in different ways, but interestingly I've gotten over both of them surprisingly quickly.
Having the pleasure of watching our boys in the 90's - some of the greatest 17's to ever play the game - play such incredible footy and win all there was to win, I often feared how bad...
Jesus tap dancing!
May as well just cut the shit and give the bloke a release. It seems almost certain that he wants one and is being an absolute turd about it. Absolutely no F's given about his team mates either, which to me, especially under the current circumstances, is totally...
Of course.
The honchos have continued to make a point about them though, and yet no meaningful action (especially last year. Our failings at all levels, IMO, aren't a new 2020 problem). Just follow process, conduct reviews and steady as she goes.
That's largely my beef with them.
Seriously, what is it with this board and 'reviews'.
What came of that big, insightful review that was apparently supposed to happen last year after the Eels bent us sideways? What then is the point of Locky's current review? How could all these reviews possibly lead to precisely zero...
Yeah, weird.
They can go ahead and incorporate Norths, sure. But if true, I find it odd that they would bother taking games back to NSO. You can be as certain as the Storm going in dry on us next week that the remaining Bears faithful will be having no part whatsoever in any tokenism from a...
It's hard not to agree.
And I hope whoever takes over, as likely as it seems tonight, immediately punts these blokes and marks them as never to return.
They simply cannot be rewarded for this BS, no matter how clueless the coach is.
All the focus will be on the coach this week but FMD, regardless of how bog average they're being coached, there are more than few egos out on the field who should consider themselves extremely lucky (or unlucky, depending on your take) to ever put that jersey on again.
We're at the point where winning this game will achieve next to nothing. In fact, it will likely extend the pain. Never thought I'd have to speak like that about this club.
