I think we are really feeling the loss of Flegs and Herbie more than I was anticipating. We had absolutely no go forward last night, compounded by the loss of Hass, and there's only so much Patty can do on his own. I was thinking that we basically sacrificed herbie and flegs to keep Willison...

I was going to blame the Vegas experiment as the cause for all these injuries, but they're happening across all teams including those who remained at home. Really odd, is it just a freak occurrence early in the season? This is the worst injury toll I've seen in a long long time.

A broncos player will get binned first if the bunker / refs crack down on similar head high contact, similar to how Patty and Hass were binned/charged first during the crackdown for hip drops (call me cynical .....)

Same with Luai, I just don't understand how his is a grade 1 and Burgess is grade 2. Very similar and Luai didn't even attract a penalty. Initially I thought the fine system for repeated offences would be OK, but its really a terrible system and has no real dis-incentive for the player or...
