Another area that Wighton is really good, imo, is kicking. I haven't really paid attention to the Raiders this season but he usually puts the opposing team under a lot of pressure with well timed and placed kicks.

In the last game he certainly was. The way I see it is that Dearden is more adaptable to 6 than Croft is. Croft seems to respond better to structure, at least while we’re still working things out.

Is Flegler for Asiata our Thursday swap. I feel like we've had a fairly regular Thursday swap of players. I didn't think Asiata linked up to well with Dearden but Flegler is a liability. Surprised he's not suspended really.

I always thought Croft was brought in as a stop gap. He's also a rookie and clearly no boundaries have been set on who's "in charge" until now. Kev was clear as a bell this was Croft's chance to organise and it worked. Asiata had some issues linking up with Dearden and Dearden missed some...

Seems to me Kev knows what he doing. I'm sure he has a plan going forward. I'm very glad Croft was part of those plans as he's been set up to fail until now.

I think he got tired as the game went on. He made a big miss late in the game. Otherwise i thought he was fine. Pretty sure he tackled Kikau at one point too and they're on opposite sides of the field.

Dearden didn't combine well with Asiata. He also went himself a few times. I was ok with the first but we needed to go to the wing on the others. Let's see how he fairs next week.
