He's done a lot of things in the game, but he still hasn't kicked a field goal from 2m out from the try line and 20m in from touch. I admire his confidence for giving it a go though. Not even some of the best would have attempted it from there.
While I agree with the rest of your post, I don't think the forward pass was entirely Boyd's fault. The centre got in the way of Boyd and Oates, and it sort of forced Boyd to attempt to pass it flat (which ended up forward). The centre and Oates could have been slightly deeper.
But yeah, I...
I'm calling it now. If the Broncos persist with that halves combination all year, we're gonna miss the 8. Even Tonie Carrol would have been disgusted by that performance.
I don't understand the need for crack downs. Just ref the game, every game, as per the rules. By saying there needs to be a crackdown now seems to indicate the refs havent been doing that over the past few seasons.
Yeah it's the regular panel. I don't actually mind Sampson and Pitt. The other 2 are pretty ordinary imo, especially Hollis. I'm all for giving females roles, assuming they are on the same level as males (i.e just pick the best person for the role), but when picking Hollis they must have been...
Yeah I agree. I've always thought she was quite good at the roles she had done previously, but she should avoid doing any further interviews like that. She was terrible.
It seemed no matter what Lodge said, it wasn't enough, and her line of questioning to try and prompt more was terrible. Like...
He's already had one. It was called "A night out with Karmichael and Sam". Daruis ref'd the event. Unfortunately they only got one attendee though. It was pretty wet that night too, but more goals were scored. Karmichael was designated driver though, so stuck to coke all night.
Ah the era of $1 drinks, when you were young and couldn't drink much anyway. Head out with $20 and still have enough left over for a kabab on the way home.
