Also don't forget that quite a few of these young guys have played together at the Broncos since 2008 Toyota Cup under Griffin. That kind of experience all playing together and with this coach cannot be under-estimated. I think finals footy each year over the next few is still a realistic...

That's the whole article that I quoted, I just put the link there so people would know my source, so no need to click on it.
Anyway FWIW I applaud this attitude. I have always believed that unless it is a VERY BIG name player to fill a...
Go Queensland. We are the sporting capital of Australia!!!!
If the Reds win, and the Maroons win a 6th, and the Broncos win - wow I really wouldn't be wanting to be choosing the winner of the "Team of the Year" at the Qld Sports Awards .............................. oh wait, I do get a vote...
To be fair - he was leaving due to how he was treated under Henjak's reign, he's been much happier as this season has progressed. I'm stoked he's staying.
Great stuff by Tomic - hope he takes the lessons learned this tourny and continues to improve. Also hope the Aussie media lets him keep developing as he should and not expecting him to just win at the drop of a hat now and being overly critical when he doesn't. No doubt he certainly looks like...
Ummm - how about "He compared it to the farewell for Maroons legend Wally Lewis in 1991 when Stuart was the Blues halfback.
"We will be disrupted everywhere we go, in regards to grounds, buses, the whole lot," he said.
"It happened to me in 1991."
Interpretation - I know it's going to happen...
So the article Kaz linked didn't have Stuart's full quote, so here it is for you:

He is clearly insinuating everyone in Qld was involved in some kind of conspiracy all week to go the extra mile to disrupt the Blues BECAUSE is was Wally's...
Malisse has always been a sook.
Tomic played a great match again - his tennis has really matured over the past 12 months. But pretty sure Novak will end his run.
Loved it that Wally himself called Stuart out on the Ch 9 news last night - pointing out that very thing that he announced his retirement after the game [icon_lol1. Also I do remember him saying at the time that he actually didn't make up his mind himself until about 2 days before the game...
I'm with Jeb - the One HD shows for mine. One Week At a Time just shading the Game Plan (note to Penny, Ikin is only The Game Plan and yeah like Jeb said he's not that bad). I'd then go Sunday Footy Show then the Roast for a bit of a laugh. Haven't seen the Fox shows. I think one of the keys...
Yep great for him. Also don't think Malisse is as difficult as an oppoent as he could have faced in week 2. I think he is a real chance of getting through to the quarters - as long as he keeps his head right.
I am reserving my judgement. Yep he's been impressive in the minutes I've seen him play so far this season, but he is still only 21 and forwards traditionally develop and peak later than backs.
So it's been a few years now since the NRL has operated under a two referee system. Notably no other country or level of RL or the international arena have adopted the system.
So what do people think? Is two referees working or should we go back to just one referee? What are the pros and...
Good win by Tomic coming back from 2 sets to love down.
Was also good to see the other Aussies guys all there to watch him - esp Hewitt, maybe they have finally mended their fences which can only be good for the Davis Cup team.
