Ummmmm - pretty sure the deal is that Foxtel is not allowed to show any games that are "Channel 9" games before Ch 9 shows them - so no-one gets to watch that particular match live.
You might well get your wish. Everyone who wants Beads to be able to make it to Locky's last game - sign the petition. icon_smile

Re: Uh Oh - Thurston could miss origin
All the reports I've read and heard say JT said sorry and Checchin accepted that on the spot. But regardless if you see the incident you see both of them bounce up pretty quickly and Checchin was having a laugh. Doesn't seem he thought there was anything...
So some clubs (ie Roosters not Broncos - that was a different thing) are on such a financial precipice they need their members to donate money to upgrade gym equipment; and some people still think there is enough money in the game to expand to 18 teams.
Do you seriously think the cops don't have better things to do than follow a couple of drunk footy players from club to club? I think it's more like the full story isn't being told and they did or tried to do something that has not been reported - something still relatively minor but more...
Channel 9 will want to show it Friday night and they are the ones who get to decide. I could be wrong but based on past telecasting of these type of matches and considering both teams will be possible fighting for top 4 spots I think it will be Friday night.
And I also wanted to leave because as I stated previously, I am not interested enough in a non-Broncos game to watch it at Suncorp. I will support my team as much as possible, but other teams I am more than happy to watch on the tele
I think action taken by the club is the correct decision and hopefully as others have said it's a wake up call so the don't get into any further "trouble" in the future. However I do LOL at Hunt being 'stood down' as my mail is he wasn't going to be ready to play NRL this week anyway. But I...
Just like Coxy, personally I'd no doubt just leave after the Broncos game, like I usually do when I go to a double-header. I am just not interested enough in a non-Broncos game to justify the uncomfortablness of the seating and the expense of the food/drink etc
I don't have a lot to add to what has been said, but I do want to say that I thought both Wallace and Macca were pretty good last night. I've always been pretty quick to criticise them, so credit when it's due.
Re: NSW Team for Game 2
Maybe you need to ask your team's coach - seeing as he is the one who said the reason Hayne wasn't picked for game one is that Dugan is a better fullback and he wasn't going to pick players out of position. Before then saying that he thinks Hayne is a 5/8 anyway.
The...
I am pretty sure Snowden is injured as well. And like others I think Dugan is highly doubtful.
Oh and Beads - the NSW Coach and Selector(s) are the same thing. They got rid of the selectors and Ricky picks the team (with Bob Fulton as an 'advisor')
Was awesome when he won the "Man of Steel" in the ESL.
Last sighting on a footy field was playing for Easts in the Q Cup in 2006, then was an assistant coach in 2007. Not 100% sure what he's up to these days.
It hasn't been the ANZAC test for a number of years. It is called the Trans Tasman test.
FIWI, I think it should revert to being the ANZAC test and played on ANZAC day, instead of the Dragons-Roosters game.
Agree with Coxy in that I think Hunt has shown as much promise and glimpses as Norman; however given that his 'opportunities' have mostly been as back up hooker for about 20-30 minutes a game I don't think he has yet been given the opportunity he deserves. Give him a season as the first choice...
I don't agree with this for the following reasons:
1) Every player I have ever heard talk about is says if they have to back up after rep games it is better to play sooner rather than later (ie Friday, not Sunday) - so scheduling the majority of them to play the Sunday after Origin will be...
