From what I recall, after 2006 Lockyer rarely actually finished the season off, i.e. he was injured towards the end of quite a few of the seasons.

What a rubbish second half from both teams. Raiders are playing like grubs and Broncos have fallen for it in this half. Can the ref help them any more?

This was probably because they know how rubbish our goalkickers are. Goalkicking aside it was a great game I don't really know what more Broncos supporters want. I'll take thrashing Manly any day of the week.

Got to say I am rapidly losing interest in following Broncos games while we do not have someone who can kick the simpler goalkicks. I can cop Hunt being a work in progress and everything else, but I'm totally over watching Parker botch goal kicks that should be made.

To be fair it wasn't Hook who put in the pathetically limp kick when camped on their line to allow Mead to run onto it and streak away for a try. Hook also didn't kick the ball out on the full from the kickoff straight after. Two dreadful kicks brought the Titans right back into the match...

I've long been an advocate for greater use of the send off and sin bin for dangerous tackles as I believe the most effective way to stop players lifting others in tackles is by forcing a team to play with fewer players if they do it. A send off or a sin bin for a tackle that is dangerous but...

Pretty sure Greenberg threatened them with fines, loss of points etc in the media when it was announced.

One issue is the season starting so early. I didn't think it started until next week and only realized it started this week about three days ago.

I question whether any benefit Sandow may bring in terms of scoring points would outweigh the issues he seems to have with his defense, fitness, attitude.
