Carrigan, Haas, Paix, Hetherington, Oates were good….and that’s where I leave you
no half did anything to help their case, granted it’s hard when it’s so wet. We still have no comprehension about controlling momentum, something I really hope Reynolds can bring instantly
Good thing about Capewell you can tell he wont tolerate shit from his edge, it will be his edge and they will learn fast next to him. That’s a big positive
I wasn’t keen on Perira but haven’t been able to fault him yet, Oates needs a big game.
carrigan looked good when he came on very free moving which was a positive sign but he was rusty as time went on, cant see him starting straight away.
We still cannot get the ruck right and make too many...
Up and down of course a lot of young guys got put in their place but they will learn from it
kelly and gamble both in defence and attack did themselves no favours, mam looks so exciting but again defence wasn’t great so really the winner in the battle for 6 was Billy.
Turpin is fast becoming...
I was filthy when he left but Kevie made a statement to the team about who was in charge of the team and by the end of the year that statement paid up, we had a weaker team but it was a team and they won as a team.
If he doesn’t come back I’m ok with it and hope Cobbo gets a go at fullback but...
Half way through the year when it looks like we were going down hard again Kev made a comment that essentially said towards the end of the year we would see good progress and he was right which has given me confidence that he knows what he is doing.
Took a side tipped to win the wooden spoon...
May be clutching at straws but maybe getting extra game today is a sign he might stay. With his speed he can be such an unique threat in attack, look how they used him today and imagine with some more time next year. carrigan Haas flegler and bullemor is a front rotation that will provide this...
Pros: Haas, hetherington & Bullemor (should have permanent spot in this side) were easily our best and a shout out to Kennedy who I admit came up with several good offloads in a very tidy stint.
Cons: Gamble is hitting the wall now, Turpin‘s forward passes seem to be getting more frequent...
