Still in deep mourning ,so near yet so far. Congratulations to all the boys for giving it all they had. Did anyone else think Hunt knocked that ball back ?
Re: Justin Hodges on report
Totally agree. It was just unfortunate that Hunt pulled him down by the collar at precisely the same time Justin lifted one leg . That's all there was to it. A decent lawyer should surely get him off.Can anyone tell me who is on the judiciary? Any Queenslanders?
Re: Justin Hodges on report
I think he has a reasonable chance of beating this. All Justin did was lift a leg,it was actually Hunt who pulled AG over.In no way did Justin lift him to place him in a dangerous position. More to the point is who is on the judiciary now?
Also,how fit would...
I totally agree. Plus it's not much fun watching your team constantly defending their line and only getting a few shots at the oppositions line . I don't think footy is meant to be that hard for either the players or spectators. We simply have to make more of a consented effort to stop our...
Again, too many easy yards for our opposition. We seemed to be too often finishing our sets in our own forty and our opponents too often finishing their sets in our forty as well. Hunt and Milford have been a bit off their games the last few games, but you cant really expect them to be very...
Vey enjoyable and virtually fan.stress free win.
I thought all our forwards were great. I am really starting to like Dodds. He is rock solid in the middle and always tries to hit hard.He really adds umph to our defence when he comes on with fresh legs.
Milford was very good again, but I...
Re: PRE-GAME - Round 22 - Canterbury Bulldogs
The necessity of good line speed is hardly a new concept , however the stand and wait concept fairly novel for recent times. I am not saying we need a constant mad rush up defense but we do have to up the tempo a fair bit if we want to...
Reed has been going very well recently. Somehow he has been getting into space and setting up supports He has even been scoring decent tries. His defence has never been in question. Having said that , there will always be a bit of question mark on his potency in attack because he lacks genuine...
Re: PRE-GAME - Round 22 - Canterbury Bulldogs
We are getting into the business end of the season now. The last few years most of the contenders lifted their games by 10 to 20 % except for us. Manly lifted big time and the dogs probably will will also. What won in May won't necessarily cut...
Personally I thought Cam Smith was superb. We had really good go foward from quick play the balls and good service from Cam. He was just in control the whole time. All the fowards got really stuck in into them , big time. Did anyone else see Bozo Fulton looking at his watch with twenty...
Does Farah really think he is that superior to Ennis , even with a broken hand? Very little between them when both are fully fit. Tackling would be very hard.
I think a few of our best are looking a bit tired in their last few club games , namely Cameron Smith and Corey Parker. We can only hope Cronk is definitely right to go. They will be facing younger players at their peak. Still we are in with a great chance especially at Suncorp. I fear our...
I have not seen much of Papalii this year. How have his meters per game been going? I certainly think Corbin Sims should come in for consideration. We really need some hard hitters in ther eg Napa, Sims. Someone who might be able to put Gallon and Klemmer on their backsides.
Does not matter a bit if we like him or hate him. The guy made a real impact in game 2. We simply have to match him . I think it really highlighted the fact that we need another hard hitting big bopper on the bench.
