Oh yeah, I remember that. Forgot it was Gillette - he was flying, haha - always hard to tell but unless they have a race. Problem is, can he do that while running at the NSW line, and if he did, would he have as much impact as Taylor? I just hope Gillette's proves he is meant to be there next...
Glenn Stewart was just officially ruled out from taking the field next Wednesday. There goes a whole lot of mongrel and a whole lot of high shots - Bird will have his work cut out and compensate more if he's ever going to make up for it...
Is that the same try that came about because of Gillette's missed tackle while playing right centre? He did play a better game last weekend, but is he capable of breaking the NSW line? Hopefully he is.
In addition to the lead up to Taylor's removal from this squad, the fact that Stuart...
Looks like they are thinking of a percentage rule (must have spent over 50% of your life in Australia to play Origin). While I think T'eo is a great player, and I 'think' his heart is pretty passionate for QLD - his words in this article did not really say anything about always wanting/dreaming...
and looking at that line up Hamm posted.. would have been good to have Taylor in there. When I see that team posted the first thing I think about is Mal will be going for points through the wingers all night.
Gillette is no where near what Taylor is capable of yet, or at least we haven't seen it. If this is the way it's going to pan out then all I can say is that I hope Gillette digs deep and pulls out something special - because I still have a feeling Taylor would. Mal probably has visions of QLD...
Enjoy noisetheory! Yup, what a beautiful day sunsbligh! Hopefully it dries things out a bit. Was wondering why I was sweating inside this morning, but it was because I kept the fireplace well heated for the night expecting another dreary day, heh. Glad I was wrong!
Well so much for the weather forecast saying rain would be stopped by Thursday night .. almost 1am and it's still bucketing down. Hope for some sun light in the morning..
Very true - I just copied and pasted. Bowen has tweeted his release from the QLD camp - first official release. Has a 5:55am connecting flight to link up with the Cowboys.

Thought this was pretty funny (and true?). Someone from Mt Isa posted it under an online news article about the QLD line up:
" DOESN'T MATTER, MY SECOND TEAM WOULD GIVE IT TO THE BLUES TO!!!! QLD B- 2nd TEAM THAT WOULD SMASH NSW TOO!! 1-B Barba 2-A Graham 3-D Neilson 4-W Tonga 5-Lote T 6-C...
lol... I thought it was in English - the pronouns are quite evident? Hang on, I'll have to check which language my keyboard is spitting out .... oh, it's just normal English, I'll just change it
from English:
I think we are all excited about the QLD backline, just brilliant! It's more...
I think we are all excited about the QLD backline, just brilliant! It's more the fact that Gillette will be there instead of Taylor... I think he would have put in a good performance too if he had been picked going by the things he's been saying (reminds me of when he first played). He did...
WOW! BIG CALL! Can't believe Taylor out over Gillette - if Gillette is ever going to lift for Origin this is it as be must know it was his neck on the line with Taylor as opposed to T'eo and Taylor.. Big, big call.. Taylor and T'eo would have been the better option, but if that's the way it...
This is what I am referring to - it was printed in an article by the Herald Sun:
"Conspiracy theorists suspected this was Queensland's way of getting Kasiano to commit while making no guarantee of selection, which wasn't coming. But once committed, he would be available for future series...
lol.. I know that.. I mean the what remnifications does it have on the rest of the NSW line up .. is there anyone who will take his spot for sure now? Can we make an educated guess?
Problem is that the players who have future hopes or thoughts toward playing origin just won't go and will do what they are doing at the moment, leaving the rep field BLANK (as Kasiano did).
Yeah, I don't mind Cronulla too much either -what COMPOUND said is pretty true. I actually didn't mind seeing them take that win over Melbourne.. subsbligh is right too, we should be able to handle them even without those key players, especially retaining our 1, 7 and 6.
Haha.. true. But it's the only time I have noticed him get 'agro' so to speak. I remember a couple of occasions he was right up in Hannant's face and last game they played (couple of weeks back) I saw him drop an elbow onto Hannant's chest, lol...
