Yeah this is something I don't get either. When Karmichael signed to play AFL it was obviously for the money, but at the same time you could tell he was excited about the challenge. I never got the same vibe from Folau, so I can't understand how people can excuse his actions and not Hunt's.
Re: More bad news for the NRL and NSW...
As a NSW fan, I'd rather he be dropped pending the outcome of the trial. Better to have a complete nuff nuff in there than a star who may have sexually assaulted somebody.
Re: More bad news for the NRL and NSW...
As far as I can tell he's done nothing but witness the event. That's certainly not something the club would be justified sacking him over.
Just wish Reynolds had been dropped for T Sims.
I can only assume that Daley's plan is to throw Reynolds in as a wildcard if we're getting our arses handed to us, in which case, it's already too late.
Lewis can be our utility. I'd love to see Tariq have a game.
Even as the biggest Maloney fanboy on the board, I don't think he should be there in Carney's place. Carney was great last series.
I'm personally astounded that none of these positions existed before. I highly doubt that any corporation of a comparable size doesn't have such structures in place.
I really can't imagine that Hook would've gone to the trouble of pulling Kemp out of retirement and bringing him back up to Brisbane if he was "stamped never to play again". He'll be back on the field if he's needed.
It all goes back to his behaviour when he left the dogs. The interviews he gave, the way he presented himself... he's done and said absolutely nothing in the past five years to change my perception of him.
I don't see any sign of him maturing at all. He's still as egomaniacal as ever. He's a mini-Mundine. I'm really excited to see the Dogs and their fans unload on him on Friday night.
