Cant stand Parker but he is right in that we have to trust what Madge is doing. You bring in any coach, you have to back his methods and see if they work.
If the Hetherington to lock, Carrigan to prop move comes off, potentially a Carrigan/Hass front row and a Te Kura/Willison rotation could be immense. Its probably a bit too soon to have 2 young guys like that but its a really good option.
Loan fees across the board seem pretty expensive these days, 5 million seems normal which is a crazy thing to think about. I agree though, he's probably not the sort of signing they need.
If i were united, i'd give up on looking to buy big name superstars and look at bringing in good...
He's 27 years old, clearly knows what being a decent person means looking at the work he does off the field, so i'm not sure the excuse about letting the wrong people influence him is a valid one. He's been the stereotypical United player of recent times and the exact opposite of the good work...
Thats kind of my thinking. If you cant bust a gut for the club you support, what hope is there. When you look at some of the things he's done like lying about being ill while being at a night club in Dublin, it shows he doesnt have a great deal of respect for either the game or who he plays for...
Going to be interesting to see how he gets on. He seems to not want to be a footballer these days. His attitude at times has been awful, but he's a quality player if he is focused.
Why would anyone go anywhere near this idiot. Mind you, if there is one club thats going to sign this bluffer, its United. United fans thinking he will do a decent job and he will have something to prove are as delusional as all the NRL coaches who thought they could turn around the Coal Train...
I dont think anyone is saying he should, thats a tad over dramatic from you there with that situation just to try to prove a point.
What he should do though if he wants to make the most of his career and talent is work harder. He can do things you cant teach with his ability, but there are...
No, they have strapping you cant see. And plenty of players do what you reckon Selwyn has done. Happens every week, you just don't hear about it. As much as he got a lot of stick for his performances, Oatesy played the year out on one leg basically. Plenty of players turn up week in week out...
He's contracted to play, and he probably likes money so he had to play. Pretty much every players is getting a needle at some point during the year and playing with an injury. Its not really anything out of the ordinary.
Woolf isnt really a rookie coach tbf. If he can break the post Wayne coach remains to be seen.
Roster wise, i think this is their best one so far. Their backline is pretty good, and if they can keep all their forwards on the field their pack is pretty good too. I think how their depth goes will...
6 could be an issue and maybe thats why they are looking at Averillo there. He's a bigger body in there and in theory shouldnt get run over like Kodi, but i havent been convinced by him at center either. Sullivan as well doesnt seem to be able to cement a place. If they get Oloapu, potentially...
