Assuming there was a decent sample size, I'd be a fan of the umpires picking three balls, the batters narrowing it to two, the bowlers picking one of those remaining.
Surely Corey Oates only has a few years left in him. I know it's a long time in NRL terms, but I'm sure he's Goates' long term replacement, right?
Jesse also looks like an awesome, quiet bloke that doesn't think he's the worlds next best fullback, and should be starting NOW, dammit. Like so...
I don't think you need like for like. "Not letting the middle get over-run" isn't a bad thing. I'd take "Dependable" CJ now, over Flegs from three years ago, which is what's likely to be the equation if we're blooding new "boom" FRF's as Flegs' replacement.
What makes it work was that Capewell was also good, if not better, than Piakura. Handled the role swap with aplomb.
The idea is to get Piakura some game time, but it wouldn't surprise me that against some of the bigger packs, CJ and Marty both get a run, and Piakura steps back?
Someone said we needed a better start?
ffs - we didn't say trade the second half for the first???
anyway. Haas got SLUNG in the tackle. it wasn't a hip drop. if they start penalizing on injury.... f*ck me
One of only three games I've ever been to live.
Cows fans were in raptures, the dirty kh*nts. Hodgo picked up the team single handedly, and they were COMING.
Not sure if Billy is reading from the same script as everyone else sometimes.
He runs late in the tackle count, and ends up having someone else feeding ARey for the kick.
He runs... and no one seems to have got the memo.
Even when he does have the ball late in the set, the attack looks...
I didn't at the time.
I wasn't even hugely excited at him coming back, but I thought he was the best of our options.
And now.... Wow. How f*cking annoyed are the Warriors???? This bloke is a game breaker. Sorry our Kiwi bretheren.
Cowboys. Only because I'm in FNQ. But, they're the enemy if they're playing the Broncos.
More of a "if Broncs don't win it, who would i like to see beat everyone else" sort of vibe, rather than knowing their roster and following them closely
And who hates the Warriors? Doesn't everyone have a...
True. But at some point, we can put him on the bench with reduced minutes for roughly the same outcome. Big fan of Kobe, when fully fit, he's my lock of choice. Adds heaps, and bulks out the pack.
I think most of the "bring him back" crew are just keen to get him on the field to see how good...
Can't really hate Darbs. He hung on for a season or two too long, but.... it was a club in freefall. He was there to usher through the next generation, and it just didn't happen in time.
Sure, it was ugly, and it definitely impacted his reputation, but.. he was a good egg. The records he has ...
I was under the impression both sides needed to get on the board in any form of a 69-xx scenario....
Sounds more like my married life with that score card.
(Love you babe.....)
Don't mean to pile on, but... if you're suggesting dropping Flegs and Herbie.... you're off your rocker. :)
I'd take either of them back if they could cancel their Fins contract!!!
