Locking this one - you beat Coxy to the punch but he got a reply before you :beardman:

Referee blunders aside, it pains me to say that Manly deserved the win. It took the Warriors about 60 minutes to find any kind of oomph, which is far too late against a clinical side like Manly.
That being said, jeez Manly have had a blessed run in the finals this year. They've come up against...
Refs have had some shockers but, at the same time, Warriors have had a few chances and haven't really looked like scoring. I was also a bit disappointed in their chase for that last try. They're really going to need to step it up in the second half to win this.
They've got some good second half...
Not much more to add really. I think the respect he gets from the entire rugby league community, including NSW fans, speaks for itself.
Very sad to see him go.
Lockyer (and his cheekbone) has made an appearance in my local paper today. This is a paper which would normally focus on rogue stop signs, unnecessary speed humps, and the latest graffiti crime wave, and is based in an area which has probably never even heard of rugby league. At best, we get...
Yep, and I couldn't even make that game :shake:
You Brisbane folk have had your (multiple) farewells - we were counting on this game down here!
Ah well, I'm still happy to be going out and supporting the rest of the boys. I seriously love this team this year.
I am more nervous now but only because this game has just become even more of a "must win" from my perspective. If Locky played, we tried out guts out, and lost - I could cope with that as a send off for the great man. I'd hate to think he was forced to sit back and watch his last chance to play...
Club denying any decision has been made:

Media conference still scheduled for 11am at Broncos hotel.
Anyone got a ticket pre-sale code I can use? I was going to wait because I know it won't sell out, but I'm getting antsy and just want to get them in my hot little hands!
Total rubbish. I didn't particularly like what Hodges did, but he played the whistle and you could definitely argue that Morris looked like he might be trying to get up and play on. No way should he be charged.
Gould said he spoke to an NRL doctor this morning, who said that the fracture could be in one of three bones. All three would require surgery but can be left for a couple of weeks, so Locky should be able to play (but in pain, obviously). The only problem would be that if it was his eye socket...
I'm not a Tigers hater, in fact, I quite like them (though the mediagasm this year has been a little too much). I am very surprised to hear that they have only made the finals 3 out of the past 9 years, I would have guessed a strike rate of at least 50%.
That being said, a question for Rock...
I'd be pretty shattered if we lost this weekend, mostly because I want the chance to see Locky play live one more time (or two more times, ideally).
From a football perspective though, I've said many times that I am totally satisfied with our results this year and will look forward to next...
