What on earth happened to Ennis? Saw him walking into the sheds and he looked ok, but then never came back onto the field..? Usually they'll tell you about players' injuries but I didn't hear a thing.
Loved these quotes from him after last night:
"I wouldn't say it was one of my best performances, I had a lot of defensive errors personally,"
"But I'm enjoying my footy at the moment. I'll let everyone else say who's good and who's bad, hey?"
Seems like he's got a real level head on his...
Probably not, but that's not the same point you raised in the initial post.
No-one wants to focus on the negative when you're happy after a win, but raising some problems after a loss doesn't mean that you're blaming them.
I think you'll find that a majority of the people here have stated that NSW were the better team and deserved the win. No-one is blaming the refs for the loss, but they were not up to scratch tonight.
This. Refs were awful and inconsistent. Half the penalties didn't make sense and they missed several big ones.
But NSW were the better team and deserved to win. Fingers crossed they celebrate the shit out of this win and forget about the decider.
In any game of league I reckon 90% of teams will drop off for at least 10 minutes. What made this occasion so appalling was the number of points scored in that short time, but this was due to a number of factors - the Broncos didn't touch the ball in that entire period, a couple of decisions...
This. Really, really awful 15 minutes - and that needs to be looked at - but let's not lose sight of the fact that the Broncos were far and away the better team overall.
For the benefit of all those participating in this argument, average crowd figures for every team for the years 2006 - 2010 (it is ridiculous to include 2011 considering every team has bigger drawcards which may or may not have been played yet):
