AP I think you overestimate the intelligence of the people who could be bothered voting for that award.

I tend to agree and as I said I can't argue with him getting the Dally M when it is purely on field performance based, but I just find it amusing how fickle some people are is all when someone people hated only a short time ago wins most popular player!

I have no such issues with him getting the Dally M award since that is just for on field performance, but the Provan Summons award?! How short people's memories must be. A year or so ago, everyone hated him and thought he was a giant tool. Fair enough if he'd turned his life around completely...

I think Dell and Lote are a bit different though, they were considerably older than 25 when they came back so I can't blame the broncos for not wanting them.

My hatred for him has nothing to do with how overrated he is. Even so, I still think it's partly his fault, when he comes out with comments like he did the other week saying how he can save the eels season or whatever dribble it was, he is clearly buying in to how good people think he is.
