Haha I'm not that bad, am I? But as GC said, he's bottom of the list when it comes to backrowers in the top 17.
It does suck that two blokes in our best 17 are leaving though.. screw the salary cap.
As some probably know, don't have the biggest wraps on Te'o. Considering all the talent we have in the backrow, I don't mind that he's the one leaving.
Wish him all the best though. Souths are going places under Maguire I think.
Always a difficult trip, good to get it out of the way relatively early.
The Warriors will probably score a few freaky offload-inspired tries but their defence has been leaking so many points this season, I'd back our attack to outscore 'em. As duck said, their fringe defence is particularly...
Hate's a strong word..
Issac Luke (tried to deliberately break Rangi Chase's leg in the 4 Nations last year)
Terry Campese (constantly whinging to the ref and is way too precious)
Chris Sandow (way too big for his boots at Souths)
Matt King (grubby player at the Storm, seems to have mellowed...
Would have Brent Tate as the front runner for that vacant wing spot. But I reckon one of the two Storm boys, either Justin O'Neill or Dane Nielsen, could be in with a chance as well. Nielsen was probably a bit off the pace in Origin when he debuted but he looks a better player than last year...
Yeah, we have a plethora of options in the backrow. Almost too many as it is!
Stagg was terrific when we had an ageing pack of Webcke, Thorn, Carroll and Civ a few years ago. But we've really young forwards at the moment, he wouldn't be as useful.
The real weak link for the Kiwis is the centre pairing. SKD is good with the ball in hand but his defence can be suspect and Mannering is out of position. Hodges will run rings around him in his current form.
It's really poor scheduling on behalf of the Q Cup isn't it? Baffling..
Anyway, everyone should get down to Langlands Park on Sunday afternoon. Only footy in Brisbane! /plug
Agree totally. We've got a resilient footy team and a really good group of players, mentally they all seem to be in a great place. Even in the match against Souths where we got battered from pillar to post by both the opposition and the referee I always thought we'd finish strongly and come back...
Agree there longy..

Hannant's efforts were great, but then he's always first class. Was more impressed with the way the young playmakers went.
I'm a bit uneasy about tonight. Mainly because I'm attending and I seem to have a history of witnessing not so good matches against Canberra..
Be interesting to see how how all our young playmakers go though, plus Baptiste off the bench - hoping he gets some decent game time.
You mean second man play?
It's a pretty glaring hole in Hoffman's game to be honest. He can't execute it at all and it's almost completely disappeared from our team. It was Karmichael's pet play and to this day I still haven't seen anyone do it as well as him - always took the right option and...

Though Alex Glenn had a really good game too after a quiet one last week. Big fan of Gillett as a player, but sometimes he almost tries too hard - especially in defence tonight, he was expending a lot of energy running around trying to make a big hit. Should...
If Cronk were to leave, which now looks pretty certain, I'd reckon he'd be a good fit at Souths. Reunite with Michael Maguire as coach and Inglis at fullback, plus Issac Luke is a dangerous hooker - those three would be a very good spine.
He'd know Maguire's structure and would give them...
Gillett's starting! Talked about it last week, great to see him rewarded - with Parker out, he's too good to be on the bench.
And with Copley, I actually think he's a better more consistent player than Gagai at this point in time (aside from his handling however, hopefully that's improved since...
Talking about lifting for Origin.. none get fired up more than Brent Tate - he's an absolute machine in the Queensland jersey. At this point I'd have it between him (even out of position on the wing), Nielsen and maybe O'Neill as a smokey.
But we've had some not so flash names on the wing over...
