What about the fact QLD passion/spirit started when QRL was very strong? QLD fans had 60+ years of rivalry AND then the "big shots" who had gone to Sydney also came back to a QLD squad, yet QLDers accepted & vehemently supported the QLD team. I think that shows the tribalism theory is poor.
