It was ****ing great to see my club have the balls to tell the archaic NSW-lead ARL to shove their (NSW-lead) ancient business model up their arses.
If it wasn't for the SuperLeague war, we would still have chook raffles at Redfern on Sundays....oh wait, poor example.
Ok, if it wasn't for...
Anonymous person; if Hodges best years were at the Rosters, why did you then claim he had to return to the Broncos because nobody else wanted him? How could he be the best & no other teams be chasing him?
What if Melbourne finally got that curse that every other club besides theirs seems to suffer at least once every 5 years....injuries? Like the open said himself, it's only round 5
I agree Jeba. Gillett has been magical since 2010 and Thaiday is clearly a long term player in the eyes of the management at Red Hill. Personally, I'd be trying what I can to keep Te'O. I know he's had a rough time with injuries, but I think I'm the only one on this board that rates him. I just...
I heard him plenty of times. In fact, I don't understand why many here are chipping him. He calls it like he sees it, much like Peter Sterling. He commented that Broncos were hard done by the referee on quite a few occasions in the first half as well.
I think Norman passes slow and at the player, not where the player will be. He is off the mark and it's slowing the entire left side. Scrappy game, we should be further ahead with such an injury riddled Knights team. Second half could be a concern.
Simply put, because SoO is a representative fixture. By rights, the Kangaroos are meant to be selected from SoO form.
Only IMO, it is akin to a person living in Australia for years and never getting citizenship. Claiming all the benefits from living in this country, without actually declaring...
Correct. Cronk comes on late in the halves and plays a lock/hooker role, because he has fresh legs. DCE would offer nothing in this context and I would be highly surprised if picking him off the bench has even been discussed in Camp Maroon.
Re: The Broncoman, Rock et al NSW love thread
So have I got this right? This is a thread in the "State of Origin" forum for NSW. Therefore, for all intensive purposes this thead was created to discuss NSW Origin.
:haha::haha: 6 pages of BS.
I believe that means no New South Welshmen of...
Ari Gold the difference between the Mick De Vere scenario or "Rocky's" passion for the Broncos scenario is that SoO is a representational fixture.
This is the crux of this argument.
If SoO was not a representational fixture, there would not be so much passion involved with the event. And...
I have to agree here ethos. I highly doubt we will ever see a QLD or Test jersey on Sandow or Barba. Barba is an above average attacker at best and whilst Sandow has some great flair he has huge defensive issues and forces plays when under pressure. I can't see these two being selected anytime soon.
I think we'll have to agree to disagree Coxy and mrslong.
Whilst I firmly believe that someone who has moved to Australia and wishes to become an Australian, has the right to play for whichever State and if selected Australia. I can't agree that somebody who is Australian and then chooses to...
Can I interject here?
The reason the Kiwi players should not be eligible is simple.
Firstly, International Rugby League needs all the help it can get, which is why any players eligible to play for other countries (besides the big 3; Australia, NZ, England), should not only be allowed to play...
I don't want to direct this post at Broncoman individually, but I just want to ask the forum something;
When a young guy from NZ, Fiji, England, wherever moves to Queensland at a relatively young age (16 years old or less) don't they, as a new Australian, have the right to plead allegiance to...
