Lot of chatter about the Dumplings sniffing around the backdoor at Redhill trying to lure Farnworth and Cobbo up the M1 to the town that time forgot. I reckon next season will leave the boys with a choice .. sign with the Broncs and keep climbing the ladder or go with Bennett and his promises...
Just watched the interview with Ryan ,,, he said "love the facilities here .. they feed you .. they give you towels" ... wtf did he get at the Titans .. food stamps and a hair dryer !!?? :rofl
Yep ... and those 100 cracks will be even more potent if the boys really start to play to their potential next season, the results start coming and we become a feared outfit again. The fans start returning in numbers and the Cauldron starts to bubble again ... if and when these things come...
Seems we have three options for the No 6 jumper next season,
Albert Kelly
Tyson Gamble
Kotoni Staggs
For mine, I reckon Gamble is the man for the job, he plays what's in front of him and would be a great partner for Reynolds who is one of the best game-managers in the business. Staggs is one...
I see the Dumplings have named gold as the third colour on their shirts ... call me cynical but I reckon that's to give them some kind of match with the Suncorp seating colours ... so now they can call it their spiritual pond or whatever.
So Whine's taken on the task of coaching the Dumplings whilst taking more swipes at the Broncs and already giving us another team to hate before they even have a roster in place, I hope we consistently kick their asses.
Says a lot for our reputation when you have two guys, both gun-players, on opposing sides in a GF after which they both pull on the maroon and gold as team-mates at Suncorp ... can't wait for 2022.
If you think Bennett's Bronco-slagging diversionary tactics last night were 'off' ... wait until he creeps back into SEQ as part of the expansion circus and starts sniffing around the bins at Red Hill to see what scraps he can pick up for his new roadshow. He will sow discontent at every...
Where's Kotoni at with his injury ... just reading he's booked to get in the boxing ring for a scrap during the off-season ?? ... I'm sure there's a universe where this makes sense but he's been "given the Broncos blessing" and I am but a mere mortal so it is what it is I guess ...
Been a member on here for a while mate, read a lot but don't say much unless I have something to say ... that BooKhaki character is the first dude I've "ignored" in all that time. Don't need to read that kinda nonsense.
I have to agree mate that, from a stats point of view, he's marginally correct but I think he spoke too soon ... if he lands the premiership then he can probably shout it from the rooftops.
I agree with you but it turns out that the try should have been disallowed anyway due to the "downtown" rule ... just watched Annesley's review and he's totally correct ... everyone missed it.
Wayne Bennett declared the Bunnies’ campaign the best regular season he has been a part of in 35-year career as an NRL head coach.
“To think that we’ve only lost four games in a season, it’s certainly the best season I’ve coached, I don’t think I’ve had that many wins in my whole career,” Wayne...
