Can anyone remember when it was released last year? I think it was released during the finals but I could be mistaken.
Keen as to see who we're up against at home...
Completely agree. Sure he travelled the road on his way from Roma to Brisbane but it would have made more sense to rename one of the roads in and around Roma area.
I onsold my GF tickets so good luck to the lady in Baulkham Hills who snapped them up double time. Regardless of who's playing I think the atmosphere there on Sunday will be sensational.
As for the ones that got away - I'm confident we would have won the comp in 2002 if we'd managed to edge...
Well hindsight is a wonderful thing but I guess playing Gillo at five eighth wasn't quite the best option... He's a ball-playing back rower not a five eighth and Hunt was probably the better choice.
I felt Wallace really busted a gut out there last night. He took the line on many times but...
Been thinking about this game non-stop without fail. It's been hard to see even the simplest of tasks through at work this week. I suspect tonight will be no different. Might pull out an old Premiership DVD to send me off to sleep. Got an early start and a 7:30am flight out of Brisbane tomorrow...
Great analysis Coxy. We've got an excellent record in close games this year. Would be interested to know how many games we've won in the 1-6 point range. It would have to be a fair few. If it's close you wouldn't expect our players to tighten up.
That's the key point. The outcome of the game will depend on what Wallace, McCullough and Gillett can produce in attack. I've got no doubt we'll defend ourselves into the ground and our line will hold up well.
But the Manly defence is first class and they won't leak many points. It's also why...
Good point. We've been spoilt up in Brisbane seeing him go around the last month and given he didn't play in the Parramatta game a couple of months ago that makes it a while since Sydney saw him play live. The Cronulla game was the last one from memory?
Yep they lose nothing in motivation or intent, just a little bit of class and finesse. I hope Wallace plays the game of his life on Friday. He has been stadilly getting better and better all year and if ever he needed to have his best game for the club then it on Friday.
Hardly. He's a massive loss but it could galvanise the team even further. This is healthy anyway. He won't be there next year. Now the team gets a chance to experience a finals game in "life after Lockyer". We'll be much better off for the experience.
