Oh yes I've been looking for You Tube footage of that game for so long. Unbelievable moment.
Last night was definitely the most exciting finish I've seen in years. As a neutral I found the whole game enthralling. Roosters will take a long time to get over that one.
Looks like Hurrel hasn't come good. Vatuvei it is.

It'd be full regardless of where it's played. The real money is in the government grants to buy the games (at least from a Victorian perspective - don't think Qld or NSW governments pay for the right to host games; it's just always been a given that there will be games played in each state) and...
Before the drop out? Almost certain that was Thurston... Either way it was great stuff. The Caxton St end of the stadium clearly responded.
I actually thought the atmosphere was slightly down on last year's decider. Mind you I was at the Milton Road end when Qld scored their four first half...
Both the QLD and NSW governments will need to stump up some cash to keep Origin games played in these states. I'm pretty confident the money from the Victorian Government will get them the gong over the coming years.
There will be an uproar in both states but it just underlines how popular...
This is a nothing story.
If Queensland doesn't host two games next season it's more likely we'll see one game in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne than two Sydney fixtures. The ARLC isn't going to switch the set up because of some thinly veiled threats from the NSWRL...
IMO Queensland can win the game if two things happen:
- the halves manage to click and create opportunities out wide
- Inglis has a blinder. The Blues should be kicking little low grubber kicks to him all night. No high stuff - he loves catching bombs. If he's chasing balls along the ground...
This is just the type of match we need coming off the bye. The Origin players will have had a 9 day break and the rest of the squad will be fresh from the week off so everyone should be on song.
Which Warriors side will turn up? We'll probably get a bit of both hot and cold. Warriors haven't...
I was really proud of the effort on Friday night. It was half a Qld Cup side and the Sharks forward pack is huge. It wasn't surprising to see them steamroll us early but I was really proud of how we responded from the 30th minute onward. We were good enough to steal it but our attack was off the...
He's been ok. I think he's standing too flat and the rush defence has figured out he likes to run the ball. He needs to be a bit more versatile and develop his passing game. It's not panic stations yet but Friday night showed how much Wallace is forced to carry the team when Norman has an off...
Right call though. He's a passenger at the moment and therefore a liability. Carl Webb was a bit of a myth like Taylor although he had that 'in your face' agression which he brought to Origin and it served us well when he played. With Taylor we're not even seeing that.
The x-factor could actually be the home ground advantage. Queensland have a great record at Lang Park over the last six years and I think it's worth at least ten points. We just play good footy there so I wouldn't write us off yet despite the uncertainty around the team and the mobile Blues line up.
