Re: Should Ashley Taylor Be Promoted
Hoffman was actually pretty good for us in 2010 and 2011. He just couldn't keep it up and his play-making flaws stood out when Lockyer retired.
He in no way replaced Hunt, but you can't say we haven't had a good fullback since 2009 when we had the New...
Re: Should Ashley Taylor Be Promoted
When Hunt gets a call-up to come off the bench in Origin 3 after Queensland win the first two games I wouldn't be against Ash having a run. But barring injury I don't think so.
I might add that I really want to see him in a Broncos first grade side ASAP...
If the Storm are chasing Tom Opacic like some reports have said, I'm sure knowing that Whitchurch is ahead in the peaking order will only push him into leaving.

18. Ash Taylor - as cover for Hunt who looked to be hampered a bit by injury tonight.
McGuire just said on the footy show that he is pretty much blind in one eye.
The fact that he's playing, nay, dominating at an elite level with a disability like that is incredible.
Confused about Bennett's selection. Surely Vidot should be in the number 2 outside Reed on the left (where he was all 2014) and Copley plays 5 outside Hodges.
That way in attack when Hodges is sweeping around playing fullback we have
1. Hodges
2. Vidot
3. Reed
4. Copley
5. Maranta
As opposed...
Hoping for the win but not too sure.
Pearce will be looking to bounce back from an average performance last week and I'm fully expecting Napa to absolutely terrorise us in the middle.
Hunt, Macca and McG all need to have good games if we want to come away with the win comfortably.
