Thurston didn't even play in the game.
This reminds me of that text message that did the rounds last year and a few people on here were hinting that Thurston would be sacked after the GF.
Re: Round 2 - Broncos vs Radiers
I'm guessing Griffin thought Copley would be the one most likely to be able to handle getting thrown in at the last minute.
He probably initially planned to shift Reed into the forwards when Copley came on.

Our backs for the first few rounds will be terrible, Tate and Winterstein are injured and Kalifa Fai-Fai Loa will have to force his way into the team.
Bani and Graham will feature heavily.
Apparently Winterstein broke his jaw, we have no luck.
Our backline will be terrible for the first chunk of the season, you should win easily in round 1.

Needs more Matt Scott.
He was one of the best props all season and he had little help in a team that was getting smashed every week.
Statistically, he was better than Shillington, the Dally M prop of the year.
Gallop confirmed on The Matty Johns Show that the rumours are BS and nobody will be banned next week.
Edit: here's an article about it - http://www.couriermail.com.au/sport/nrl ... 5932536330
The police haven't named 3 Cowboys players in a report.
The article says the following:
"Three Cowboys players have been named in material obtained by NSW State Crime Command detectives."
The article later states that the 'material' they have obtained is the text message that is doing the rounds.
Good riddance I say, if he has that attitude.
We need a change of culture at the club, the players have too much power at the moment.
It would hurt in the short term but we have a couple of good young halves coming through who I think could be solid first graders, at the very least.
Despite...
The Broncos may be interested in signing Willie Mason.

He has hardly been hopeless, he just hasn't been an attacking weapon like he was the first few weeks.
Put him in a team that isn't playing as poorly as we are and he would be excelling again.
Kaufusi has been mostly terrible for us, he has averaged about 50m per game this year.
I think he's probably one of our most dissapointing signings of all time.
Ray Thompson will be there ahead of Michael Morgan too, Morgan is only there at the moment because Thompson needed a shoulder...
