    Round 1 - Bulldogs vs Broncos - Post Match Discussion

    ^^^^ I agree ningnangnong about the Hoffman statement. Yes he wasn't a good traditional 5/8 but he can run the ball ok. Do I think he should be there next week? That depends on who else is available. If Hodges was fit, I'd have him at 5/8 if we didn't sign Sandow.

    [Rumour] Chris Sandow ---> Broncos

    Sandow has always been talented. Its his attitude and laziness that has been the problem. Stick him in QLD, closer to family and with other Aboriginals like Hodges, Barba and Thaiday and it could have better effect on him. Out at Parra his playing with islanders. He was certainly a better...

    [Rumour] Chris Sandow ---> Broncos

    I bet you are changing your tune this morning after watching our number 6 and 7 run around last night. Notice that I didn't call them halves because that would be devaluing every half and 5/8 that ever played the game.

    Round 1 - Bulldogs vs Broncos - Post Match Discussion

    Good gutsy win. Although Hunt confirmed what we all already knew. What ever Parra want us to pay for Sandow, we must do it. Sandow has half a clue at least. I didn't see one good kick from Hunt. Vidot was awesome. Maranta left me speechless Defence was solid. Looked like they were...

    [Rumour] Chris Sandow ---> Broncos

    Its almost done deal. We are just in the process of negotiating the $$$. Parra wants us to pay way too much. Its all about freeing up cap space for them and we are wanting a bargin. If they can agree on $$ then he will be here. 100%

    Sack Griffin/New Coach Discussion

    The difference between the 9's and the Warriors trial is that Hook probably didn't enforce his piss poor style of game plan. He would have said, go out and have fun. When it comes to regular games, it's like he puts everyone on a short leash and forbids anything half creative. Our only game...

    Round 1 - Bulldogs vrs Broncos; Pre-Match Discussion

    I'm predicting 80% of our attacking last tackle plays to be bomb it and pray for something. The other 20% will be a disorganised attempt at a last tackle play only to find poor service from dummy half, players over running the ball and Hunt getting tackled with the ball before he can get a...

    Sack Griffin/New Coach Discussion

    I did watch them at training yesterday and last week and noticed that there was a big focus on passing between the forwards (Bulldogs style) which gives me a glimmer of hope that we will utilise the forwards as mini play makers rather than rely on Hoffman. Hoffman can be used as a support...

    Round 1 - Bulldogs vrs Broncos; Pre-Match Discussion

    Vidot will be on the wing for sure. He trained there all day today. Mills didn't even get a run when the 13 were on the paddock. In that same line up, they had Kennedy and Hannant in the front row with Thaiday, Gillett and Parker. I think the Telegraph are off the mark with the forwards.

    Thats what they ran as today at training. I am 99% sure thats it. Maranta, oh dear.

    Round 1 - Bulldogs vrs Broncos; Pre-Match Discussion

    Unless Griffin turned into a spin doctor during the off season and didn't want to play Kodi in front of the cameras then I can safely say, he didn't touch the ball in the 13 man 15 minute drill. He defended with Mills, Marmin Barba, Drew and the rest of the forwards. Should be interesting...

    Round 1 - Bulldogs vrs Broncos; Pre-Match Discussion

    They were both taking bombs but Barba did the most. Hoffman certainly practised cross field kicks and grubbers which is not a good sign. Actually its a good sign if you want Griffin gone by Round 4.

    Round 1 - Bulldogs vrs Broncos; Pre-Match Discussion

    I have good news and bad news after watching ball work training session today if it actually resembles the team. Once they finished their left hand and right hand side attack and defensive drills. The team did a full 13 man session which had Vidot on the left wing (good news) and Maranta (bad...

    Round 1 - Bulldogs vrs Broncos; Pre-Match Discussion

    Thaiday was just interviewed on CH 9 news and he said that this year gives us the chance to see Strasser, Barba or Hoffman at 5/8. No mention of Kodi.

    [Official] - Milford signs with Broncos

    I can't see him heading up here now. We have one of the most unstable clubs in the comp at the moment. There are too many whispers about in house disharmony. Ask yourself, if you were Milford, would you really want to head up to Brisbane as we are right now. I wouldn't.

    Round 1 - Bulldogs vrs Broncos; Pre-Match Discussion

    I would prefer a 31yo Palmer Wapau as our 5/8. He would leave our current halves for dead.
