I live in confusion every time Josh Jackson plays. Absolute boring plodder of the highest order. Tackles well I guess. Don't do much else of note. His stats confirm this. Fensom was better at being average.
Yeah nah. Considering Boyd has all week been talking about wanting to retain his fullback position, I doubt Bennett would then demand a trial period for him in Origin for a future centre position.
I don't like Papalii at prop. His biggest strength is his edge running, and just because he is a big body doesn't mean he is effective in the middle. Did the same with Thaiday, and he just wasn't as effective.
Don't know if hitting the panic button and bringing back Slater to play two games at 34 is the answer. O'Neill is a definite out obviously and should never have been there in the first place. I would have hesitated to put Gagai in centre because of his defence, but he couldn't be worse than...

God, why is this hack given a platform to run his mouth on? Absolute clueless dribbler.
He's good for a run sideways though! Seriously, he is not a leader and you could never count on him to help your team come back in a hard match. A lot of his stats come from padding against minnow teams. Probably why he has a career win percentage 36%.
Gotta say, don't see all the hubbub about Norman. He's a better player than he was a few years ago, but he has yet to lead the Eels to a finals series, and his solitary finals game with the Broncos ended up with us being pumped. His stats this year aren't eye popping either.
Having a poke through the Qld eligible list, our forwards just seem... underwhelming. Maybe it's a lack of opportunity, but man, we seem to be really struggling on that front.
Speaking of immortals, this choice quote from The Daily Telegraph...
Do they honestly think the next two immortals to be named will be two blokes still running around? Rugby league "experts" seriously seem to lack any capability to think beyond the present. These blokes are excellent players...
