Probably more of a whinge than anything else, but I feel like the club really falls down off field in terms of fan engagement. Always quick to hit you up for your membership renewal, but there's fairly little in the way of member engagement (or general fan engagement too). Feels a bit like its...
Ahhh offseason puff pieces are in full swing...
Love the Reds and Broncos training together. They can swap notes on underperforming despite having access to a premier talent hotbed for both codes.
This is probably what we should have. Maybe Carrigan starting at lock and Joe off bench just to have some more sting off the bench.
this is also why I was against re signing Glenn. I don’t think he fits in our best team now.
Jahrome Hughes hardly lit the world up at halfback and was a big reason why the Storm lost two games in the finals this year.
He replaced Croft.
To say I am dubious of this signing is the understatement of the century.
Nope. I watch them. That’s when you see Glenn get tackled easily by halfbacks.
He scored two tries in 2019 because he doesn’t bust tackles and isn’t a threat at the line. His running game has declined markedly and his defensive impact is considerably overrated.
Meh.
I like Glenn, but this signing does nothing for me. Our most potent edge combination would be Fifita and Pangai.
That said, I think Glenn will most likely be left edge (where I think Tevita should be) and also likely to be the captain.
Ahh good these are my favourite topics - Michael Morgan is overrated, critiquing the Cowboys awful roster and questioning their cap management.
MM had that magical '17 run and never sniffed it since. The Cowboys paid him $1m and that deal is as bad as Milford's paycheque but it doesn't cop the...
Think it works out pretty simply at this stage:
1. Isaako
2. Oates
3. Bird
4. Staggs
5. Perese
6. Milford
7. Croft
Next in line presumably Coates, Farnworth and Dearden. Kahu (ugh) could fill in on the centres or wing if absolutely needed, but that would have to be desperation point.
For all...
Forgive me for not jizzing my pants and thinking we'll make the Top 4 with this signing.
Croft is, at best, a project halfback signing. He got dropped for a fullback (Hughes) at the Storm. Maybe the spine didn't work for his playing style with Smith & Munster (although it certainly went alright...
This an absolute P Kent special.
Have a go at the Broncos - check
Praise the Storm, somehow - check

Tick tock, tick tock. He's so reliable you can set your watch to him.
Colman is bang on. I like Alex Glenn and he is the consummate professional. But he is over the hill and his resigning doesn't come close to filling an area of need in this squad.

This signing just shows nothing has changed and is exactly the sort of deal that has us with Boyd and...
