I think Fifita is fine as an edge defender. He managed to cover for the worst defender in the comp for the back half of the year until that semi final.
He was an absolute monster defensively in that home Sharks game where we held them out for the entire second half.
Would rather Fensom than Tagataese.
Tagataese played like two games for us last year and had to be hooked both times because he couldn't keep up. Seems like a likeable fella but absolute last choice resort.
Few interesting takeaways from this trial team, if reading the tea leaves correctly.
1. Dearden appears to have jumped ahead of Paix and T Boyd in the 'young halves' sweepstakes.
2. Su'A would appear to be fourth on the Seibold edge depth chart. I think we're going to regret having paid good...
F*** me it's been a long off season when people on here are talking themselves into Pat Carrigan being a better starting lock than Tevita f***ing Pangai Jnr.
My team for round 1 would be:
1. Boyd
2. Oates
3. Roberts
4. Bird
5. Isaako
6. Milford
7. Nikorima
8. Lodge
9. McCullough
10. Ofahengaue...
Only that moron would write this level of drivel.
He has an obsession with Milford. He never gives any credit when its due, always loves to rub any negative in, and keeps banging on that hes a flop.
Broncos Limited has $10m sitting in the bank according to its H1 18 update. Better to spend the $1m as an insurance policy against losing players and having an underperforming business in the years to come than to hang onto it.
I love Wayne. He's the GOAT. He's the reason the Broncos are a powerhouse and haven't gone the way of the Crushers.
But there's any number of reasons why this is the right call:
- His handling of the Lodge saga. Regardless of Lodge working out, it was a significant fk up at the start of the...
Pangai Jnr will re-sign as soon as his management contract runs out. Molehead's article yesterday was complete fake news. Him and Lodge are the least of our issues on the re-signing front.
Could we really? Arrow is a good player but he is a starting lock, and as a starting lock he isn't better than McGuire, nor is he better than TPJ is now/will be next year. Arrow is a high workrate player, not too much special about him.
Fine with Sims leaving. Budget deal for a guy who wanted...
