Another great first half by hunt, went quiet again in the second, but still a slight improvement over last week's performance. If we didn't have 2 2nd rowers on 1 side, and that numbnuts Maranta on the other we would've been home free.
I think you'd want 1-2 interchanges spare incase of emergency..
Dodds on for Hannant @ 20mins
Stagg on for Thaiday @ 25min
Tasi on for McGuire @30min
Granville/Baptiste on for Macca @ 30min
Hannant on for Dodds @ 50min
McGuire on for Tasi @ 50min
Macca on for Granville/Baptiste @ 55min...
We'll either see Yow Yeh get a shot in Reed's spot at the start of the year for a couple of games..a little reward for all his effort, or we'll see him have a go during Origin, Reed moved to the right side for a couple of games with Yow Yeh on the left. I don't see Hodges continuing 2015 and...
That's the conundrum..If our halves get their act together and Hunt gets more comfortable and can play the full 80 like the 1st 20 on Friday..they will definately be very effective 80min players, so is Parker..where does that leave our QLD and AUS rep Captain? While not great, he rarely plays...
I agree completely, they are both great hole runners, Gillett has the better footwork and offload, Glenn has better explosive speed and power, and due to either bad coaching or poor halves, they've been used incorrectly for the last couple of years.
But I was responding to the eye roll of how...
Yeah, let's compare a guy's stats from 2nd row with someone playing centre.
From their last 5 80min performances in 2nd row, here's Gillett's stats compared to Glenn's.
17 less metres
4 more errors
1 more line break
8 more missed tackles
11 more offloads
3 more penalties against
6 more tackle...
Hunt will be there unless we get DCE, he'll have atleast 1 year to prove himself while Taylor is in NYC/QCup..If he goes great in 2014 or if Taylor falters, he'll be there 2015 too.
Damn I hope this is true..and if we can get Barba as well..
1) Barba
6) Milford
7) Hunt
9) Macca
14) Baptiste/Granville
That spine behind our forward pack next year would be great.
Was hoping that it would be a definate signing though, I guess we're back to playing the waiting game.
Re: Broncos Player Movements and Rumours 2013
Hannant, McGuire, Tasi, Kennedy with Dodds, Hala and Molo as depth is a damn good forward pack..hopefully SAnderson and Lui are moved along at the end of the year.
Add to that an all rep second row we may end up with the best forward pack in the...
Norman has the potential, but no heart.
Maranta has the heart, but not the skill/speed.
Fine with Macca staying as he is, as long as we have Baptiste come off the bench.
I know it's blasphemy to most..but I don't mind Anderson as depth..Lui on the other hand should never be in the side again.
I thought it was one of Prince's better games..but still not great. Norman looked disinterested again, Maranta pathetic once more.
Loved the aggression some of our forwards were showing, Tasi, McGuire, Dodds all looked good..McGuire with a Corey Parker performance. Still have no clue how Lui...
This is going to be painful.. It's great that we'll have Hannant back and can't wait to see Tasi play..but I just don't see Hoffman trusting Maranta to finish (and rightly so), so he'll just go himself every time he gets the ball.
Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere already..
