A little curious about a rule and figured someone here could answer..
Hunt kicks it dead in-goal.
Bulldogs get a 7 tackle set from the 20 and immediately kicks it out.
It's not a dropout going into touch, It's not a 40/20.
Why is that a Bulldogs scrum?
Awesome, let me guess, this is what Daley is going to use as an example to get Bird into Origin.
"How can Bird get 8 weeks when Peachey's was worse and got 2?"
You know, I'm getting really tired of watching Broncos games, and the video ref randomly chiming in to overturn a call and put us under pressure..never see it with any other team. Just a random "**** you" and then silence for the rest of the game.
Holy shit that was bad, neither team deserved to win that. Even though they're now on 5 in a row, any decent team should've been able to put 30 on us with all that field position. Milford was by far our worst..No idea why Bennett decided positions like this..if he didn't want Maranta at...
Re: Round 6 -Broncos vs Roosters
Great game but my head almost exploded at 80mins..Seeing Maranta trot along up to the defense..pause like he's accepting a tackle..then turning and popping it off to an unsuspecting player and almost giving the Roosters the ball at full time, 10m out with no one...
He attacked the legs of a kicker, mid-kick. It's a penalty. Doesn't matter that there was no intention to injure the player, I'm sure 90% of the time when a player lands on his head from a lifting tackle the defender would be going in for a regulation tackle.
Graham's conduct was...
I'd love to see him come off the bench. Can play Wing, Centre, 2nd Row and Prop if needed, not great defensively but gives several defenders a piggyback out of our own 20.
If we lose Thaiday we have Oates who can push into the top 17, heard a lot of good things about Arrow, from other clubs we could go for Adam Docker if we need some more aggression, Nate Myles if we need some experience. Possibly Korbin Sims.
If we lose Vidot/Maranta, I wouldn't mind giving...
I'd rather have someone who drops the ball over the line than someone who drops the ball inside our own 20. Think that happened, what? 3 times in 2 pre-season games for Whitchurch? Coupled with him being a turnstyle..
My main issue with this if it's true..Is Bennett told Vidot that he had to...
While I do like that he was dropped to give him motivation to improve..I still don't understand choosing Whitchurch if errors are what Bennet's looking to reduce..I don't know how he plays in ISC or what goes on at training, but every game I see him play he has feet for hands.
I've asked several friends about that but no one's ever remembered it and thought my memory was screwed up..I recall him going in for a tackle and somehow getting flipped over the guy's back and landing square on the top of his head.
That flick pass and the dumbfounded stare at the camera with...
I may need to re-watch the last few games..but hasn't Whitchurch been shit for all the televised pre-season games (Nines and WCC)? Feet for hands and a turnstyle in defense?
Wait wait wait...Didn't he come out and say the whole problem he had with the Broncos wasn't that he couldn't play Fullback..but that they didn't allow him to stay in 1 position and make it his own? Now the Titans are doing the exact same, and I'm guessing he's fine with it.
I love how one sided these commentators are, they'll be completely biased for 75mins, then if we're ahead they'll change their tone and talk about how poor Wigan are and how they lost the game rather than Brisbane winning it.
Happy they're not trying to play dry footy in these conditions...
I'm one of the people still unsure about Kahu, he plays a few mediocre games, then just as he starts to impress..injured. Would love to be a Kahu fan and hopefully he stays healthy enough for it to happen this year.
