What a train wreck..Positives..positives...positives...Macca was alright? We are in for a very short season that feels very long with these halves and wings.
I think I have it figured out..Whoever scores the try MUST kick for goal..Unless they're off the field. Every time the Warriors score, the try scorer immediately runs off the field to be replaced, since he's off, Johnson can kick.
Because in one of yesterday's games with a penalty try, they specifically chose to give it to 1 player because they didn't want another to kick..Do they have to be involved in the play? Within a certain distance? Seems bullshit if the Warriors can choose to give it to their best kicker while...
So what is the rule for Goal Kicking? I remember hearing that if you scored you had to kick it..Then I see centres, wings, second row all kicking for goal..then Johnson kicking no matter who scores.
Very impressed with Copley, if he doesn't take Hodges' place at the start of the season I'll be very confused. Hunt not impressing, decent in Defense, but he needs to step it up big time.
And just as I say that..he crosses the line.
Provided he gets the opportunity, I'm expecting Walker to be rookie of the year. If they can keep Walker and Hampton, Storm will have half of their post "big three" era spine looking promising.
TBH I'd love that..With Johnson re-signing and our chances of picking up either Smith or DCE very slim, I think it would do Hunt a world of good playing 1 season alongside him in the halves. Don't give him back the captaincy, make him Hunt's captain, focusing on teaching him everything he can...
