I wonder what will happen to Norman if Sandow happens to play extremely well in the trials from Fullback..Probably see Hayne moved to 6 (As good as he was in the centres, I don't think he could be effective there at club level with the Eel's halves options.) and I don't see Norman playing well...
Just had a look through that Gallery...Copley looks big, fit and strong and seems to have matured a lot physically since I last saw him..Can't wait to see the guy play.
Re: [RUMOUR] Macca to Storm
It doesn't.
If it was a perfect world..
We get Smith, win 1-2 premierships.
Storm get Macca, wins 1 premiership, heir to QLD #9.
Smith retires, freeing up 1.5mil, we throw 800k at Macca at his peak.
Really doubt things would go that smoothly though but I don't...
Re: [RUMOUR] Macca to Storm
Macca has a lot of potential that Bellamy will likely help him achieve, playing with Slater and Cronk for a couple of years will also help him. I'd wager 2-3 years at the Storm will put him at the front of the line for Origin when Smith retires.
That's not to say...
Every time I've tried to look at that photo..I keep thinking how stupid Soward looks in a Panthers jersey. Almost as stupid as the new panther design on the front.
Titans one looks good, Don't like the Cowboys or Bulldogs jerseys though..First glance I thought Ennis was wearing a WWE belt over...
If Hunt can't step up this year I'd rather we throw 1.2-1.3 plus the Captaincy at DCE, Save the other 200-300k, if McCullough can't step up either, add the 200-300 to what he's on and offer it to Friend.
If Hunt and Macca can set the world on fire (Hopeful but not holding my breath) in 2014...
1) Dugan - Kicked out of NRL or taken big $$$ overseas.
2) Will Hopoate - Fair Enough
3) Jarryd Hayne - No way this bloke's knees will last another 5-6 years.
4) Michael Jennings - Only in the team because of speed, will lose some of that at age 30.
5) Jorge Taufua - Fair Enough
6) Luke Brooks...
1) Ben Barba/Anthony Milford
2) Paul Byrnes
3) Dale Copley

Maybe, but I'd hope a professional athlete could do 15mins of work, 10 min rest, 10mins of work, 25 min rest, 5 mins of work. If he'd stop tackling around the ankles every damn tackle and having to lift his massive frame off the ground each time I think he could do it.
As much as I hope this kid has a great career and possible QLD origin in the future..A club can't bet on too many teens to be the future of the club.
I have high hopes for the crop of young kids we have already in Ash Taylor, Corey Oates and Elijah Alick.
I understand where you're coming from, if Hunt and his partner perform well in 2014, we'll have 3 quality players competing for 2 positions, one of them will be stuck in reserve, which does suck for them.. But I'd much rather risk having too many quality halves than potentially having none if...
If Hunt can improve his long kicking game, then I agree that we need a fast, threatening player who shows up in support (Marmin Barba maybe?), if he's still lacking in that department after the trials, throw in whichever of our options has the best long kicking, don't care if it's Cullen...
