Imagine starting Williams and only giving Myles 25 minutes or imagine bringing Farah on and moving Smith who was killing it at hooker when the game was on the line. Tim Sheens is a retard.
I think 2000 was his best year, he was by far the games best player at that stage. He was carving sides to shreds every week, it is abysmal that he didn't win a Dally M during this period of his career.
I would love DCE I honestly think that kid has so much talent that he hasn't even discovered yet. I would also take Dugan, despite the injuries he is probably the most "creative" fullback in the game in terms of his ability to involve his teammates.
His on field performances warrant this but yeah if off field "giving back and setting an example" type criteria were part of any of these then I would be the first to saw he has no place. I do agree on the selection panel for the immortals being a joke. It should only be people who played the...
Good for depth definitely, he isn't great but is a good finisher and not bad defensively. Maybe McGuire is going to put Everingham or Hunt into the centres which I think he should as King and Farrell were very uninspiring as a pairing neither really penetrates at all.

EPIC!!!!
Ange can get f#cked acted like a dickhead tonight, his pist match presser was pathetic. We were masterful and look set to be in the top 2-3 without breaking a sweat again.
Great honour for a great coach. I do agree with AP that he isn't the best currently coaching in terms of their ability right now but there is no questioning his CV over his career. To win 7 premierships from 7 grand final attempts is extrodinary!

On this again. I have got zero respect for this guy after...
The statements by Hoffman make me not want to bother supporting the club. What a piece of sh#t. I am struggling to support NRL as it is but now my team are admitting to not putting in 100% FFS.
Poore actually showed a little bit of heart late in the season (may have been purely due to his contract coming up) he is clearly the right size and has been good in the past. Maybe Bennett will get more out of him and to be honest they have way too many backrowers so Poore if on a cheap...
Of our spine the 9 is the only one I am not worried about as we have someone who is not only tough but has shown he can be creative and tries things even if he can get it wrong more often than the very best hookers going around. I want players in our spine who are willing to try different things...
Hopefully he actually gets the Broncos invloved in the wrestle. We seem to be one of the few sides that isn't even remotely interested in slowing the play the ball down. I hate it but while they let you do it you may as well join the rest of them. Melbourne have made 5 of the last 7 grand finals...
Widdop was MOTM in their major semi and I would have had him 3rd or 4th in my Clive Churchill overall. The guy is absolute class and is completely forgotten due to the big 3. Not a chance in hell he would be moved to accomodate Finch let alone dropped.
Is that confirmed?
Where the bloody hell would they play him? That is Origin cover at best considering the quality of their spine and the quality of their bench hooker in Hinchcliffe I just can't see where he fits???
Re: 12/13 Football Thread
I agree Ning and I would say how far we have come from even 4-5 years ago. The quality of the football that the Roar have set as a benchmark has lifted everyone else because they all realise that results and crowds improve when you pass neatly and attack often. The...
I have changed my view after the bellend from Jayco and his rant about boys being boys. Simply the guys behaved badly, I wish the media would not wait outside waiting for something to happen (surely they have proper news to report somewhere in this country?). I guess this club only fuel the...
Slater is much like Minichiello under the high ball in my view. Very reliable most of the time but when he drops one he will usually drop a few others on the same night.
