So you think that if a player is going over for a try, and is hit hard in a tackle in the process of scoring and the ball dislodges, then it should be play-on for the attacking team?????
I agree about Fulton costing them the game, why he threw the pass in the direction of a prolific interceptor I'll never know - especially when it was the third tackle, 30m out directly in front. As you say, he should've just taken the tackle!
This does concern me, being a coach (or even a manager in a regular business) is all about man management (or person management in business). If Henjak doesn't include his players, involves them in decisions, isn't approachable etc. then he won't have the respect of players.
Just think back to...
I just hope the best 8 teams get into the finals. There hasn't been that many great games this season, however, I hope each game of the finals are crackers!!!!
I watched the last 3 games of the Raiders yesterday thanks to the Bigpond site, if they turn up with the same attitude as those games - and if we turn up with the same attitude from our last 3 games, I think they could break last year's score against.
Positives:
1. Hoffman and Gillett
2. Blooding of young talent
3. Thaiday's form
4. Lockyer's form
5. Folau's form
Negatives:
1. Attitude when defending
2. Discipline
3. Lack of attacking (and it could be argued defensive) structures
4. Injuries to key members of the squad
And what I want to be...
I think it's great news, Maloney (basically a no-namer prior to this season) shows our half-back what a kicking game looks like.
I mean, how long will Henjak persist with him???
Well said mate. It's our defence, absolute shambles, all comes down to attitude. If the first 5 mins of the 2nd half looks the same we'll have 50 put on us!
