You can actually see Farah change his centre of gravity, he was heading one way (ie. towards where the ball was going before Inglis picked it up), and then you see him react quickly to Inglis in the process of putting it over the line, he then places his weight onto the left-side of his body so...
Re. Parker, my understanding is his personality went strongly against him in the captaincy selection. Paul White and Griffin appear to value the importance of being humanistic when managing their respective areas (and obviously wanted the same in a Broncos captain); having met Sammy T he's a...
I'm on holidays at the moment and courtesy of Bigpond Videos I have been watching the last 6 series wins of Qld in the 'State of Origin'; the thing that I have noted is that NSW have been gradually getting worse, both with who they're selecting and how they play the games.
I guess my question...
Was a good first half, 2nd half I was either tired or it was boring... not too sure. Anyway, agreed Hannant made good charges up the middle. Flame me now, but I wasn't that impressed by Cronk, not too sure why; I found him a bit 1 dimensional.
Hmm, maybe we could release Anderson? Look, I think Anderson has heaps of potential to be a solid front rower, however I think that Te'o has a lot more potential and is currently showing that potential; unlike Anderson. The thing I like about Te'o is that he can really hit in defence, a real...
Not too sure on the roster, but I would prefer to keep Te'o over Anderson, even though Anderson is a specialist front rower, I think Te'o can fill front row if needed, back row and the centre position.
He was blowing up at Parker and Gillett, they were both extremely lazy coming across inside and cover defence, respectively. Wallace showed how much it meant to the team that they let their line be breached.
Not too sure of the rules, or I haven't even re-watched the try/game, but I thought I saw McManus catch that bomb in his in goal prior to him racing all the way for a try. Should it not have been a 20m restart?
I thought the fundamentals were there, which is great for round 1. I was impressed at our defensive structures and the mobility of the team.
We were lacking the polish in a couple of areas, the halves will have to rectify this over the next 4-6 weeks.
Did anyone see the move that Billy put on Civo where he stepped him 1on1 then did the chip and chase regather for his try? Even though most front-rowers would have struggled to tackle slater, but deadset he looked ordinary! Andrew Gee vs Benji Marshal ordinary...
