Re: Sack Griffin
Here where I think it went to shit for us.
A lot of our work on attack this year (in the first 2 games) seem to resolve around a quick reshuffle. Wallace to dummy half, Hodges dropping back and Norman into the 5/8 role. They looked sharp when they did this. Wallace gave us...
Getting pretty sick of our defence first mentality. How were we ever gonna do anything with Reed and Stagg as our centres and Norman casually strolling into the back line? Our halves were shit but they also have shit to work with.
If we ran those exact plays again last night with inglis...
Some fucking supporting players. Fucking hell. No options for anyone. What the **** are they practicing during the week? It comes down to our halves needing to step through the line and none of them can do that. No one in the comp can do that enough to carry a team. The offensive coaching is rat...
Hodges is officially out. Our chances drop significantly...

There was a moment in the Q Cup game when Kemp chased a pretty standard 5th tackle kick from within Redcliffe's own half, Kemp go there first, before the defenders, got the boot to it and almost scored. It really made me miss that crazy speed he has. His defence was excellent also and his runs...
I thought Kemp was pretty decent in the centers for the dolphins. Very average game from Kahu. Really wanted Hala to kill it but I think he'll need a couple of games in Q cup before he's ready for FG again. Really, really impressed with Slyney's game. Capewell's first half was great also.
Another one for Harvey Howard. My dad always called him Harvey Norman though...
Gonna add Peter Wallace to my list as well. Absolutely love his attitude. I'll take his 100% 80 minutes over a lot of other people any day of the week. He definitely made me question it a little last year though...
Who got into fourex's account?
A lot of things to like there. I thought it was a massive effort from Parker, Gillett and Wallace tonight. Really happy with Hoffman. Norman needs to learn how to return a kick if he is going to play fullback. Maranta isnt fg material yet...
Re: Sack Griffin
Curious here fourex, what did you make of Prince on the weekend? I've just finished up watching the replay and was happy with Wallace's performance, and not very happy with Prince. Save from a couple of nice real nice kicks, and a couple of nice passes, he was pretty average...
I've seen him touted as a possible 5/8, center, wing and fullback replacement...
He played that last trial game at center, and, I think, he was playing in the centers when he did his knee last year?
Yep that exactly. That forwards passing Hasler has got going with Bulldog props is beautiful. How does Griffin think McGuire, Thaiday, Parker running into 3 defenders over an over again is going to get us anywhere?
