I believe Boyd was a very close second from memory.
I recall reading from a few sources they're the two fittest at the club in just about every measurement and then daylight.
Kahu is the current New Zealand fullback, I don't see how that doesn't suffice. As somebody mentioned, mead (current png fullback for what it's worth), Niko and Milford are more than able fill in. And working off your criteria, Corey Allan is a great junior prospect
Ponga will be great, but...
It's far from terrible, and would warrant saying he can goal kick. Ideally not first choice, but far better back up than hunt or Milford who would be our second amd third choice next year at present .
And I'd conversely argue it's much harder to keep your % up with such a large sample space...
If the Benji deal becomes official, I can't see much downside. As others have said, I think it'll also have a positive influence on hunt and Milford having him around.
I did hope if we were going to land a back up half/ utility in the off season it would've been Tyrone Roberts though. Has...
Benji has no nrl offers and is desperate. Therefore I'd assume he'd be a cheap acquisition if it came to fruition, and not in place of Hunt.
If that's the case, we could certainly do worse for a back up half. It's been mentioned how poor our half depth is. I doubt it'll happen, but if it...
Hasn't Marion Seve had similar wraps on him through his junior footy career, minus a few ACL injuries?
He's had a year of open age footy under his belt and was on the cusp of making his nrl debut for one or two games.
Similarly Moses Pangai was Q cup centre of the year, so you'd have to...
I was perusing the roosters forum and they speak of Kane Evans being on the outer.
I'm aware napa is the preferred and more logical choice as a local Brissie boy, but what are thoughts on Evans?
Just a purely hypothetical question. haven't seen much of him lately but he's one of the biggest...
Glad to see chambers get they one and put it to Bird and co.
You can tell Gallen, Fifita and Ennis have taken him under their wing. Such a bunch of unlikeable players
Wow, that's pretty irrefutable
He's a great acquisition on his own merit. I wish we'd let knik go to a higher bidder.
I rate kodi but he and Milford are too alike. Tui could've been that impact off the bench with one additional advantage, size. I see him in the Michael Morgan mould...
I notice Brandon has been shifted to the back row for dolphins, and if I recall he used to be a hooker in our u20's. I only read up on stats and haven't watched qcup games, but how does he fare? Seems to be too small a body for the back row I'd have thought.
Sam Anderson always seems to rack...
I'm definitely farrrrr from comfortable, but I think their injuries list will be very telling late in the match.
Hess In for an 80 minute Lowe and an un-match fit Asiata will hopefully show.
I wouldn't discount Moses pangai making the team somewhere.
He's played centres ever since being in the cowboys grand finalist Toyota cup team (and team of the year) and qcup '16 team of the year. But he's enormous (being tpj's older brother), wonder if he could bolster our bench if needed...
I was a bit surprised he didn't make it down the sideline untouched. But good unselfish play. Looks like Wayne has issued him a challenge to make a highlights reel of spectacular try assists
