This. It's a genuine concern of mine now when we get several earned penalties early in a match.
It's beyond ludicrous. A penalty is a penalty on its own merit.
This is left field and just thinking out loud, but is there any merit to temporarily pushing Roberts out to a wing and bringing kahu in to centre? Kahu has the knack for putting a winger away and it would inject Roberts more, even if only on kick returns with space to move. May reignite him...
I really like kahu's tendency to pick a gap right between two defenders and run flat out more often than not when he takes a hit up.
He often looks likely, or in that instance causes an awkward high tackle and resulting penalty
Daniel, hi.
Thank you for your Intel, can you tell us when we can expect Jessica to join the nrl training squad? Will she be a top 25 player, or 2nd tier? Once again, appreciate your inside info. Thanking you in advance.
To the game at hand, barring reed recovering I'd like to see the Glenn to centre, ese'ese to bench reshuffle. Could help counter a physically intimidating warriors team.
I'm just concerned about Glenn's lateral defence in the centres, especially if RTS injects himself and links with Kata...
I thought FiH was a woman. Not another murri brother?
Also, I thought Daniel dowel (aka o'dowd) was only good for indigenous Intel. Maybe he's confused jack reed with his indigenous doppelganger Ben Jones on the training paddock?
I want to see Roberts flex his legs as much, if not more than anybody. But that was really selfless, team first play. Could've rolled the dice and been bundled into touch inside our 20.
Have we only used two interchanges so far? I'm yet to see offa and wadell. First proper match of the year and nobody seemed to drop off in intensity, we should handle the interchange reduction with ease
Somebody mentioned it earlier in the thread, gillet looks infinitely more involved in attack again. But appears equally as involved in defence.
As I type this, another really soft penalty going against us.
Side note, parkers kicking looks to be really solid, pleasantly surprised.
There'll undoubtedly be flashes of brilliance.
But it'll be controlling the tempo of the match. And the end of sets on the fifth where nothing is particularly on or we're confined to our own half that concern me
I hope to be proven wrong, but I hold grave concerns over this halves pairing. Particularly if this is any indication of our plans to cover a Ben hunt in the season proper.
I see both kodi and milf as dynamic, running halves. I think both will struggle enormously to guide our team through...
