    PRE-GAME [Round 24, 2022] Broncos vs Eels

I have no doubt we'll win next game due to the bounce back effect after a huge loss. But I fear Kev will think we won with Turps and James so we'll stick with them.

    PRE-GAME [Round 24, 2022] Broncos vs Eels

Kev is still clueless leaving Gamble and Paix out of the interchange. Sticking with Turpin and Ryan James FMD

OFFICIAL Broncos dropped out of the 8

On a positive note the Roosters and Rabbitohs who are tied at 28 points with the Broncos have 2 tough games ahead. Roosters Vs Storm, Roosters Vs Rabbitohs. Rabbitohs Vs Cowboys.

OFFICIAL Broncos dropped out of the 8

Calm the farm, usually after a huge margin loss like that in the NRL teams will do some soul searching and bounce right back for a win next game 9 times out of 10. Canberra needs to win all 3 games (doable) plus cover the 50point margin and Broncos have to lose the next 2 games against Parra...

POST GAME [Round 23, 2022] Broncos vs Storm

We should've at least made bids for Mahoney, Smith and Korisau when they were on the market. A Haas for Damien Cook swap is worth a crack.

    PRE-GAME [Round 24, 2022] Broncos vs Eels

Gamble will be key to turn things around. Start Gamble at 6 (provided he's healthy), Mam to the bench as a backup hooker/utility player, Turpin to reserves.

POST GAME [Round 23, 2022] Broncos vs Storm

Melbourne's ruck speed killed us. It's time Broncos start wrestling in tackles to slow the opposition down.

    PLAYER Payne Haas

Munster Munster can play FB and mentor Mam, Walsh and takeover in the halves when AR retires. Walsh can be a utility player off the bench in the meantime, his defence is not up to NRL standard yet.

    PLAYER Payne Haas

I can see a scenario where we do a Haas for Munster deal with Melbourne. Everyone gets what they want.

OFFICIAL Te Maire Martin Signs Three Year Deal with the Warriors

If Lockyer was a good mentor Isaako, Niu, MILF would have flourished by now. By their fruits you will know them, a bad tree can not bear good fruits. Lockyer is like Michael Jordan, great player but shit at managing and shit at coaching.
  11. L

    Tesi Niu

Chris Walker would be in the mix

    PRE-GAME [Round 23, 2022] Broncos vs Storm

I'd replace Turpin, James, with Paix and Gamble.

    Tesi Niu

Croft, Macca, Isaako, Boyd, Ofahengaue, Griffin, Seibold, Henjak were the ones I wanted off the team. Tesi and Turpin are the last of the Mohicans to go before I'm content with the squad. It's normally mediocre spine players and coaches on my Schindler's list.

    Tesi Niu

BigDel has gone AWOL since last night's game. I've put up missing posters around my neighbourhood.

POST GAME [Round 22, 2022] Broncos vs Knights

The team can only get better from here. Carrigan comes back from suspension in 3 weeks, TMM gets even better with more match fitness, Cobbo still has room to improve after he shakes off his PTSD from the Origin knock, Turps gets shipped off for Paix off the bench, and Herbi or Brenko comes back...

[Round 22, 2022] Broncos vs Knights

With zero power vested in me I hereby revoke TMM's contract with the Auckland warriors and sign him to the Broncos for $2 million dollars over 5 years.

[Round 22, 2022] Broncos vs Knights

TMM is a legendary game changer, Tesi sucks. Debate is over.

    NRL 2022 Round 22 Discussion

So we're now 7th on the ladder and can fall to 8th if Broncs lose tomorrow and Roosters win. On the flipside Broncs win by a margin of 4+ tomorrow and jump to 5th on the ladder.

Trade Turpin + Niu for Parcell

Broncos Roster, Signings and Rumours Discussion 2022

Broncs should sign Matt Purcell at hooker. The game has evolved where his particular skillset of natural speed will suit the NRL and will fill the void of ruck speed and creativity that the Broncs desperately needs.
