Agree with Porthoz 1000%. Members pay good money to support the game so they should of course get priority over those that don't. What I think they should've done was give members a priority window for say a couple of weeks and when that window closes, all remaining tickets then go on sale to...
Glad they picked on form rather than just picking Broncos/Cowboys squad players like last year (albeit last year's game was a beauty).
The halves and hookers should provide plenty of problems for NSW and plenty of go-forward up front.
I don't think he's getting bad wraps just because he is leaving. He was on the end of the same criticism last year when most thought he would be with us for a good while to come.
He went brilliantly today in Redcliffe's defeat of Wynnum. Man of the match and player's player. Not sure how far he'll go but I liked what I saw today. His kicking game close to the line I thought was very impressive - forced plenty of repeat sets.
One of the few shining lights in an otherwise very disappointing season for the Dolphins. Been playing behind a badly beaten pack most weeks. Hard to really judge how he'd go based on that.
Absolutely he should. He's worse than any fullback or five-eighth we have had since 1988. Including those dodgy five eighth selections in 2007 when Locky went down.
Extremely narrow minded. From memory they had 4 or 5 sets on our line towards the end of the game without success. That cost them the game more than one dodgy call.
I reckon that night was damn close to Wallace's best ever game for the Broncos. Long time ago I know!
Can someone tell he how Cameron Cullen goes? With all the injury woes at Redcliffe this year apparently he will be playing at Dolphin Oval for the remainder of the season in the number 7.
Back row is his best spot IMO. Runs hard and tackles even harder, can be very handy on the edges. That shocker in the GF last year seems to have rocked him though.
Kidding yourself.
A half decent fullback and our halves wouldn't be looking as bad as they are now. He's bombed a thousand tries, no better than his woeful efforts in the 6 jersey last year.
Plus he has no ticker. Absolutely no desire to back up huge efforts from his team-mates. He should've...
Saw something very interesting from the stands last night when Gillett scored.
Hodges, Maranta and Prince were first ones there to congratulate him, and Hodges looked around and nobody else was even towards him so he yelled at the rest of them to get their arses over there and give Gillett a...
I think DCE will come on and play in the halves and Cronk will push to a roving/back-rower role like he did when he came off the bench when Lockyer and Thurston were in the halves. I actually think it's a very good selection. Cronk is one of the more adaptable halves the game had ever seen and...
I don't understand. NSW have fucked up multiple times over the years by not picking enough specialist props. Not only are we doing the same but we have picked even less than we did in game 1!!!
I love Gillett but I hope I'm not out of line by hoping he gets the flu so that Kennedy gets a spot...
