Maybe not as much as some people would like to think.
Being selected for a rep team once in your career does not make you a rep standard player for life, only a select few can achieve that.
Wallace is a perfect example.
The only players from Brisbane who I would pick for rep duties on current...
Thank god for the NSW selectors not having a clue, as per usual.
Same here, he is one of those players who grows a leg in Origin. Naturally NSW dismiss this and chop and change instead of allowing the guy to gain confidence.
Yeah I also think Billys body is starting to give way, he gets smashed...
Griffin may have lost the locker room, but the problem is that there is just no talent at the club anymore.
It would be more apt to say the club has lost the recruitment department and or plot.
Kind of like in the recruiting department. How hypocritical of them to come out and say this.
Yeah it is kind of like buying an expensive pair of sunglasses for a person with one ear.
Nothing matters except what happens on the field.
When he passed it to Maranta I thought awesome, he can actually choose between two scoring options here, to the Left or right, then I watched him run with the ball and felt my nuts shrink as he botched both options.
Not really, Barba could go walkabout again, Marshall would be passing the ball to the 3rd row in the crowd and Shillington would get lazier as time goes bye. Those three would be a disaster waiting to happen.
That would really deplet our side.
About 4 years ago I hope.
You think? :001_rolleyes:
What exactly is this "trick" that you speak of?
The starting players are not building a platform. The bench is not there to come in and bandaid errors from the starting team, they are there to supplement them and give them a rest.
How does one mix the line-up a tad?
In a nutshell, because of the arrogance that is Red Hill and people wanting to keep their jobs.
As you all know Brisbane had a knack/habit of consistently unearthing stars and those who were not necessarily stars on their own soon tapped into their ability and confidence to become one, because...
I think Hook sits back with a bit of straw in his mouth at training and mumbles every now and then things that are barely understandable, not sure if he wears a 10 gallon hat whilst doing that.
Re: Tamou Done For DUI
Press release by NSWRL just stated that drink driving is no longer a criminal offence if it involves one of their players.
They are going to petition the NRL to have it implemented, it will be named the Gallen ACT.
Yeah the more I think about it it was a dumb idea. I was meaning for players for both teams to lose a maximum of 4 mitigating teams doing bad during the origin series but yeah, forget that par of my post haha.
