We have had more ball, better field position and Panthers more errors and yet they have made more meters, more line breaks, more offloads and of course more points. You would think that when position turns around the Panthers will put more points on... we again are in serious trouble.
We are seriously bad tonight, will struggle to beat the Panthers, even that looks unlikely, not that it will matter won't make the 8, nor do we deserve to. Don't believe SoO has anything to do with it. We are just poor right across the paddock. No idea where we can go from here. It seems we just...
The Broncos don't even look like getting close to a try, Manly had this game with their first try, we couldn't win even with a point a min. Thats when you know it's over.
It's clearly not going well and as I said before, Manly has come here to play. Their halves are running riot and their kicking game is excellent. We need the ball in good field position and put them under pressure. No opportunity to put any pressure on Manly and we are falling off too many...
So who has been bagging DCe and Foren? They are running us ragged, their halves are killing us. I think I have my answer from before, how will we respond? Very poorly, almost feeling the game is just about over unless some possession starts to swing back to us.
Manly has come to play, we are going to have to earn this and to me we are just a little off our best...2 fairly easy tries may not bode well... Lets see how the team responds.
Ok, from where I was sitting here is what went right and what went wrong.
1. Early in the game the forwards were passing before the line
2. Playing direct, drawing them into the centre and passing it out wide (drrrr)
3. Effective and aggressive defence.
What went wrong
1. Gillett, ok it's...
Ok, first of all, lets not be blaming the refs, let other clubs whinge about that and they were not the reason we lost. We lost because the Bulldogs scored more points and if you need to rely on a ref to help you, then you don't deserve to win anyway.
Our first 20 mins was great, we played...
Re: Round 23 - Bulldogs vs. Broncos - Build Up Thread
I haven't read all the posts but my opinion of Wallace has always been as a defensive half back rather than an attacking one. He is usually a solid and reliable foil for more attacking players such as Lockyer. Good in defence, moves players...
No point dropping this player or that player, a few weeks out from the finals, those days have passed. Serves no purpose. the only thing that they can do is look at recruitment. We need fresh blood into the team. Next year we loss the services of Teo, Beale and Petero and our generation next...
I wonder what the players are going to say now? I heard it all in the past 2 weeks, hard drills, old ladies giving it to the halves, play for each other, blah, blah blah. We couldn't beat the Titans, Eels nor Raiders and next are the Bulldogs, Manly and Storm we've won our last game. Maybe the...
