BOO-YAH!
Prediction: if we get within range, watch for a drop goal. The extra points may come in handy if the Eagles get two quick tries on us and the boys shut up shop.
It is one thing to be capable of something. It is another to use that capability.
Until Kemp begins showing the magic we all know he is capable of, then perhaps we are better off with Winterstein and Yow Yeh [icon_shru
Have to admit that Ruka and Kennedy have done precious little to impress me. I seriously think that leaving McDonald out is a mistake. He will be important when Kewell finally calls it quits.
Credit where credit is due, of course. It's been a great turnaround to get 3 on the trot. I'm not saying it's a complete turnaround, though. There's still a lot of work to be done, and the game against the Sharks demonstrated that.
I think Phil Gould summed it up last year quite nicely: "The referees need to stop giving NSW the benefit of the doubt. All it does is make QLD more fired up, and nobody likes facing 13 angry Queenslanders!"
And the thing is, is that when we did lose back then, it wasn't because we played like arse, it was because we were out-played.
Now whenever we lose, it looks like Australia didn't even try.
That being said, I think that the only way things will improve on the International scene is if each...
I have to disagree with Coxy & co. here.
Three wins on the trot is great, but let's not go counting our chickens before they hatch. Remember, it was only a month ago we were slashing our wrists and demanding Henjak's head on a platter.
IF we knock off Manly, then I'll start getting excited...
I'd be very surprised if this was the case. The injury could not have been that bad if he is back that soon.
That being said:
1) I am not a doctor or physio
2) I am thinking back to when Renouf had a similar injury in 1995, and technology/medicine has probably improved since then.
3) Hodges...
Personally, I friggin' hate Sydney for the exact reasons Fozz mentioned. That being said - Rocky has a point, but I still question whether or not it will have a great effect on a club's survival. Are there really that many Cronulla supporters still out there?
I was in Vietnam for the AFC in 2007. Brilliant atmosphere, even if Australia sucked. I am hoping to get to Doha for the AFC next year, which will be EPIC.
That being said - I will be in SEAsia for this year's WC, so finding live games shouldn't be too difficult/ _woohoo_
