I’m still baffled the Heat didn’t go all in on Jono Wells. Just the type of player we require. A middle order rock and smart batsman. We just have dumb batsmen who can’t read a game situation.

Khawaja & Munro is quite a formidable opening pair. Just a shame we’ll be out of contention by then.

We didn’t win off Lynn & Bazzball. We won off freak bursts of form from Pomersbach & Cutting. We won BBL 2 out of nowhere. We’ve only played 3 finals games since then.

On the flip side our bowling attack does struggle when being attacked. 4th innings against India @ The Gabba, Stokes' miracle in the Ashes are prime examples. It doesn't happen that often, but it will make for an interesting series that is for sure.
