I think like a lot of years it will come down to atitude and injuries. Henjack will do little to rock the boat in the first season and we will have the cattle to do the job if they are up for it and are injury free. Wait n see I guess, but I don't rate next year any higher or lower than any of...
I think a great deal of the future will revolve around Falou. Having an outside back that can finish what a quality playmaker starts is a huge part of a teams scoring capabilities. We saw that in the SOO and we saw it with Kemp this year. If we have an outside back that is great under the high...
Bring in 5 min sin bin.... and use it.
And stop the players from going to the ref every time he makes a call. Penalties are the only time they should be talking to the ref and even then should only be the captain.
He would have to last better than Menzies. Lamb and Lockyer... and the way he runs the ball back, I can't see it happening. Would be nice, but I very much doubt it.
Umm ... had we lost on the weekend or not got a point in the drawn game, we'ld be on the edge of the eight with five other clubs and every chance of being dusted by the knights and missing out all together. So it could easily have happened, glad it didn't but it could have.
Our forwards lack any amount of sting at all and it's rot that they aren't as big or strong as past packs of ours, they just seem to lack the heart or the preporation to do as they're supposed to.
They run up one out and almost always alone and get smashed, so before you know it they're running...
One HUGE reason almost no players have followed WB to the Saints is because WB at the Saints and WB at the Broncos are two totally different things. One is a club that has lost two of it's biggest names and has failed to do anything much in the comp for years; while the other is a one city club...
Am so glad they got home, for a while there I was sure the tites were going to stealing it with a field gaol... I would have been gutted and the team would've had three close games go the other way, but thankfully they got ti done. Well done to all, but Locky and Ennis were my picks with good...
That sounds fair enough, the Storm's backs make the pack look good as they tend to always do something with the ball at the end of the set of six. Also in a similar way to the way that our back three (Locky, Del & Lote) used to help our pack out. The wingers could hit it up and the magic back...
The amount of work that Lockyer gets through in a game he can fall off as many tackles as he wants IMO. When the self centred little toad Ennis has Locky's imput on a game he can afford to miss a few in defence. Lockyer is everywhere in attack and defence for the full 80, while Ennis is only...
Perhaps an earlier version of WB drilled the sides a bit more.
I saw an interview with The King once and he said that the "Control freak" side of the coach at the Broncos in his time there was a real issue for him as he liked to be able to play it the way he saw it. WB said Wally was moved to...
I make no mistake, the Storm ARE good, they ARE well coached and they HAVE had a good run with injuries; and the broncos HAVE had a great roster, HAVE had shocking runs with injuries and HAVE on a number of times underperformed under WB... and you can pick and quote any season you want.
Now the precedent has been set, break your contract whenever u want, just as long as your new club is willing to pay a fine or a new age transfer fee. Dogs should have run him into the ground and the nrl should've backed them all the way.
