Corey Oates - What to do?

On a side note does anyone remember when Sailor did a few stints in the middle/2nd row? Playing with headgear LoL.

Corey Oates - What to do?

That's right, he isn't old at all. That's why this transition period is so critical. He could turn himself into a very damaging weapon for us. It all depends on how his body holds up. He has the size to do stints in the middle but his body hasn't been copping the workload and the hits. So my...

Corey Oates - What to do?

It's crazy isn't it. Watching those highlights and realising just how long he has been playing. How many guys he has seen come and go. It made me feel for him more when back in 22 he admitted struggling as he didn't have any mates at the club anymore and he allowed himself to slip as he had no...

Corey Oates - What to do?

You have to love Corey but @Big Del is right. We didn't see a lot from him, despite that he did well with the limited opportunity he had. But what it did show is we have a great club man waiting in the wings who can do a few jobs for us if needed. Personally I want to see him get a stint in the...

    Jason Demetriou vs Kevin Walters

and both seem to not be able to handle criticism of any kind. No wonder these guys hate each other, they are the same type of bloke. Everything's an offense to them and they appear to have no real backbone. Communicating with these types of people would be insanity inducing. You never know where...

    Jason Demetriou vs Kevin Walters

Like I said in my quoted post- I wanted to see what he looked like in three years. Well it's been two years since that post and I think he isn't as good as touted. His team has gone backwards and like Pies he has allowed the top dogs to go unpunished for their below average form and scapegoated...

POST GAME [Round 4, 2024] Broncos vs Cowboys

The difference is Walsh is elite on the ball and is at least competitive in D. Sailor has some good feet and nice skills but he is not elite.

POST GAME [Round 4, 2024] Broncos vs Cowboys

Sailor is a good player, but doesn't have the speed or defensive ability of the top flight fullbacks. I get what @Wolfie is saying and I would agree. He is perfect for what we need him for and that is it. Fill the gap and do a job. I don't see him in our top 17 in any position currently.

POST GAME [Round 4, 2024] Broncos vs Cowboys

Everyone did exactly what was required of them to win this one. Reynolds needs to play more like this, he looked more relaxed and just played the director role. Pat was outstanding and Jensen had his best outing this year. Baker is finding his feet in the side and needs a few more games to get...

    PRE-GAME [Round 4, 2024] Broncos vs Cowboys

Happy for Oates, as I said after the Rabbitohs game "he should be given the Hancock option". When Hancock was slowing down and didn't want to retire he turned himself into a quality forward sub and extended his career. Oates needs to seize this opportunity and just do the basics right. As...

    PRE-GAME [Round 4, 2024] Broncos vs Cowboys

I actually think this is not a bad option. Hoeter does deserve a shot also. He was great in the trial he captained.

    PRE-GAME [Round 3, 2024] Broncos vs Panthers

From memory we had Walsh and Reynolds out for one of our panthers games last year and we either just lost or just won it. Can't be bothered looking it up haha

    PRE-GAME [Round 3, 2024] Broncos vs Panthers

If anyone expects that they are crazy haha. The kid lacks the fitness for any of that from what I have seen. He has put on some quality size and will need time to develop the motor. All I want to see from him is 30-40 quality minutes. Hold the middle and make at least 100m.

POST GAME [Round 2, 2024] Broncos vs Rabbitohs

This may be a long ball but I would sit Oates down and give him the Hancock option. If Oates could morph into a bench forward he could potentially stay in the team. There is no reason he couldn't give us Twenty plus in the middle. He has the size. If required he could fill in st second row or...

POST GAME [Round 2, 2024] Broncos vs Rabbitohs

Also his chase on Johnson. Corey doesn't get close. Mariner had to turn and close a 10+ meter gap and was able to do it easy. I think Mariner looks great for this early in his career. Hasn't fully developed so will gain some strength. He will be a weapon for us, I think.

POST GAME [Round 2, 2024] Broncos vs Rabbitohs

I think they want to keep Willison fresh. It is a long season. Keep him developing and let Tapau get through some of the business end.

POST GAME [Round 1, 2024] Broncos vs Roosters

This is absurd. All societies were pagan at some point and all have done what is described by you. JT should not need to feel shame over his cultures past as either do I for colonization. But he has every right to point out that it hurts when people use words that have been historically used to...

POST GAME [Round 1, 2024] Broncos vs Roosters

Record them and end their attendance at any NRL match for life. Will not change how empty Roosters home games appear anyway.

POST GAME [Round 1, 2024] Broncos vs Roosters

Yeah, the media was definitely running a smoke screen for the Rorters. Mundine got pulled in via the Naser connection, to have his 2c. More dramatic music was played with footage of Walsh saying c##t in the direction if a ref last year on 360. The sky was falling last year over that but this...

POST GAME [Round 1, 2024] Broncos vs Roosters

It has to be. If fans get life bans a player should get at very least a half season sitting on the pine. As you can argue in the heat of battle the brain is not processing what is coming out of your mouth. I am no woke snowflake but this is one thing where being a role model is an actual thing...
