Did they say on TV what injuries he had Rock? Dead set after the game he had about half a dozen body parts covered with ice - he looked pretty dusty, as did Glenn
That was one of the real highlights for me - Wallace is really running some nice plays on our left side now. To put 58 on a finals contender without our #1 weapon being heavily involved is a great positive for the next few weeks IMO
I'm not sure if grub is the word to describe him but he has let some crap creep into his game that definately wasn't there 4 or 5 years ago - facials, grapples, the kicking stuff. All stuff I just don't think he needs to do - when he forgets about that crap he is a remarkable player.
I don't think they are available to everyone Coxy - I thought I read while the Olympics were on that a single suit costs a few thousand dollars and is only worn for 3 or 4 swims. I am sure this would affect some competitors - especially those without sponsorship trying to break into national...
The modern day boys can play but they would have to be at their best to beat the old school. There would be some wonderful 1 on 1 battles - Wally v Locky, Smith v Turtle and imagine the passion and fire between Tate and Hancock!
How good would it be though to see Miles and Meninga up against...
What do you make of his 2009 club form though mate? As with past seasons I have seen most games of each round and I would think that on 2009 club form he would be ranked 4th or 5th best fullback behind Hayne, Boyd, Patton and Merritt. No doubting his skill and ability to do amazing stuff on the...
That is certainly big news - everything I had heard was that the Chooks were going to make a big play for Steven Kearney who I think is going to be a very good coach. I am not totally against Ivan but I like the look of Kearney in a Broncos shirt!
If this was the first touch up we had received this year then I probably wouldn't be so disappointed - we have had a tough year with injuries and have had to blood a lot of young players who just look worn out to me. As many others have said there have to be some tough questions asked at the...
I agree Coxy - I thought he was enormous in defence, his stats probably say he missed a few tackles but they sent plenty of traffic his way and he rose to the challenge and kept knocking them down.
Fabulous win - forwards were great again. It has been said above but Ash Harrison has been our...
Rocky you forgot to mention the bumper crowd at Brookvale last night where 10,500 people showed up to watch a game between 2 traditional rivals.
icon_thumbs_u to RL fans in Sydney!
Your crowd numbers are interesting mate but I think it paints an uglier picture than you suggest. Sure the Dragons and the Dogs are flying and as a league fan I think that is great but I would like to add another couple of teams to the group you say are struggling;
Penrith - sitting in the top...
